Don had never been happier for anyone than he was for Danny and Lindsay. As he watched the two of them promise to be together forever he knew that no two people were better for each other, no two people deserved it more.
Still, it made his stomach clench in pain.
He wanted that…he wanted someone to look at him like he was the greatest guy in the world. He wanted someone who loved him all the way, loved his faults, forgave his mistakes, and stood by him. He wanted a woman who'd be his partner, his soulmate, his life.
He looked over at the maid of honor, Stella, who was smiling at Mac and he wanted to scream.
Because the one woman he wanted to be his soulmate had already found hers.
