Thick black rain clouds covered the crescent moon as he moved through the deserted park.

He looked to the black sky as heavy raindrops fell to the ground. He stopped walking and sighed. Within minutes his clothes were soaked through and his blonde brown hair hung limply around his aged face.

Slowly he moved over to a park bench and sat down on it thinking about his life and tried to work out where it all went wrong. For tonight was the anniversary of their deaths. It was 17 years ago when their faces blessed the earth for the last time. It was 17 years ago when their voices could be heard by the living for the last time.

He sighed again and leant back on the chair watching the rainfall.

It was two hours later when the clouds began shift and the man watched in anticipation for the moons light to hit him. It did and then the figures screams ran out through the vacant park.

His body froze in the moonlight and he began to snarl as his limbs lengthened and grew. Changing from the tired human with to will left to live to the raged beast that was about to go out and raid the small muggle village that was near by.

A howl echoed through the night sky as the moon was hidden again and the beast took off towards the scent of humans.

That night the sky was filled with the cried of pain and the howls of a lost and finally beaten wolf.

The next morning the beaten and broken form of Remus J. Lupin was found washed up upon the shore of the river.

Devoid of life and silent to the world.
