Prompt: flash! Moment on film
When Adam mentioned that he'd just had his brand new big screen television and media system put in and that he was having some friends over to watch movies Lindsay had said yes. She actually thought it was sweet that he would ask her.
Of course, he didn't mention Danny was going to be there or that they were going to watch some of the goriest, scariest movies ever made.
She made it through iScream/i and even iPsycho/i but when The Texas Chainsaw Massacre started picking off friends on an innocent trip, she lost it. She said good-bye quickly and practically ran out of the apartment.

"Montana!" Danny called as he followed her down the hall, "Montana."
"Go away," Lindsay said, tears sliding down her face, "Go away, Danny."
"No," he said as he caught up with her. He grabbed her arm and pulled her close, "Come here."
She smacked him, pushing at his chest as she tried to get away, "Leave me alone."
He held on tighter, touching her against chest, "Come here, baby, come here. I'm here."
She stopped fighting, just suddenly went still against him, "Danny, I can't…."
"I know, I know, its okay, its okay, baby, you're all right."

An hour, a shower, and a shot of whiskey later, Lindsay's finally beginning to f eel normal again.
She also feels like a complete idiot.
Who cried over scary movies? It had been ten years and the man was in prison. She should be able to do this by now.
"You know, I'm really fine," she said, even as she snuggled farther into the blanket he'd wrapped around her. The blanket, the sweatpants, the t-shirt, and the sweatshirt that went over that. She forgot how good his clothes smelled, how wonderful it felt to be close to him, "I should just go."
"Sit, Linds, please. You need to rest; you can go back to hating me in the morning."
"I don't hate you Danny," she said, with a sigh, "It would be a hell of a lot less painful if I just hated you."
"I miss you."
She nodded, "I miss you too, all the time." She laid her head back on the couch, turning it slightly to look at him, "I'm really tired of missing you."
"I know what I did was unforgivable, Montana, but I just…if there was any way you could forgive me," he sat next to her, reaching for her hand, "any way at all, I promise I would spend the rest of my life making it up to you."
Lindsay closed her eyes and took a deep breath, "I can forgive you, Danny. I'm just not sure I can move on from here."
Danny's face fell and his hand drifted away from hers. Lindsay opened her eyes and saw how lost he looked she reached for his hand, "That doesn't mean I don't want to try. I just…I can't make any promises, Danny."
"I'll take whatever I can get, Lindsay."
"Well, how would you feel about some cuddling? I could really use a hug from my big, strong boyfriend."
Danny smiled, sliding closer and lifting his arm over her shoulder, pulling her close, "Big and strong I can do. I can do anything as long as I have you."
