Believable kiss
Summary-Peter is surprise by seeing the adult Wendy unsure of his feelings for her. He watches the understanding smile on her lips. She remembers the promise she made to him years ago about showing him what's a kiss and decide to do it after muttering her thanks. Peter watch as Wendy goes back to her husband and sighs sadly not seeing Tinkerbell seen the whole thing as well. Time will heal but at least she kept her promise.
Gazing into the adult's eyes, Peter's mouth drops in shock asking ghastly, "Wendy?"
"Hello Peter," The woman says softly a bit noting Tinkerbell near by getting her eyes to tear up a tiny bit remembering the fairy quite well.
"You…I mean…"The boy stammers making the woman chuckle softly.
"All grown up yes that I have." Wendy replies waving a hand. "It happens though part of it I don't regret at all."
She glance at the door behind her hearing the doorbell ring. Could it be? She smiles slightly though wistfully as Jane calls out, "Daddy! You're home!"
Yes she did grown though she only regret not seeing Peter again. She's glad to have the chance to see him again. She should thank him.
"Wendy…I.." Peter chokes up a bit not willing the tears to fall.
Why does his heart at the cries of Jane saying Daddy? Is Wendy really married? Is this pain ever going to go away? He remembers he never got that kiss. Could he just ask her of that?
Wendy smiles a bit grabs Peter's chin gently whispering, "Thank you for bringing my daughter home safely Peter. With that she believes again when I thought it wouldn't happen again."
She kiss him slightly making the boy blush darkly as tears enters her eyes whispering a bit while pulling away. "Thank you and I'll always believe in you."
Peter nods as Wendy walks back to the door heading outside to her family. God he's a screwed up kid. But then again that's all he is. A kid while Wendy is an adult. How long has time been since then? When he last saw of her?
Tinkerbell hugs the boy as best she could on his should. She smiles tinkering a bit pointing out he did Wendy a big favor and she did what she promise. He smiles a bit at her words nodding. He did do Wendy something bigger. That's making Jane believe again. He promise to visit as much as he can.
