I wrote this oneshot a while ago, and decided to post it on FF. I know it's about six months late, but I wrote this in June. This takes place during Touchstone of Ra, and it's a Peddie oneshot.

Patricia's POV

I looked around the room until I found him. Just looking at him made me feel upset. It hurt especially knowing there was nothing I could do about it. There isn't really any good advice on what to do when your boyfriend is depressed because he lost his Osirian powers. I eventually decided on asking him to dance.

"Do you want to dance?" I asked after making my way over to him.

"You hate dancing," he countered with a smile.

I smiled back. "Well I could make an exception for a superhero."

His smile faded. "Well I'm not. Not anymore."

Meaning every word of it, I said "You are to me," with a genuine expression of sympathy on my face. Eddie smiled, but still shook his head.

"Oh come on Eddie. All of our friends are dancing," I whined, growing impatient. He still shook his head, and then, I got an idea.

"I'm just a tank, standing in front of a tin can, asking him to dance with me," I said hopefully. Finally, Eddie smiled, got up, and let me lead him to the dance floor. We danced for a while, laughing with our friends, until a slow song played. Eddie pulled me closer, and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

Looking around, I noticed all of our friends dancing in a similar way. Even KT had found a boy from a different house.

I looked at Fabian and Mara. You would think that Fabian loved Nina, too much to get over her, and Mara and Jerome were very compatible. She also seemed to like Mick very much. But now, the two nerds of Anubis were currently dancing together. Who would have known?

Then, there was Willow and Alfie. I thought Alfie really liked Amber after how long he pursued her, and Willow had that disastrous stage dating Jerome. But, Willow and Alfie did make a good couple.

Finally, was Jerome and Joy. My best friend and the prankster. Joy had once had a huge (emphasis on huge) crush on Fabian, and Jerome tried his best to get Mara. But now, I could tell that Jerome and Joy really liked each other.

And then, there was Eddie and me. Since we had gotten together, we had broken up officially once, and we never got over each other. Eddie and I had always been together, and I hoped it would be that way, forever.
