The Jokes On You!

Akira Kurusu had taken down the god of control, received the world arcana, and restarted his normal life. But that eventually became lack luster, the adrenaline he felt as Joker still lingered deep down. So when he saw a glowing blue butterfly, he followed it without question. He didn't find a velvet room; he instead found an old man with a cane and a being called Philemon.

Now I will be the first to admit that I have put a ton of stories up, this is no lie. But this story is a bit different from those ones. This one isn't a simple idea, it won't go through the other templates I laid out for the other stories. This one is a confirmed 'I'ma do it' story.

Long ago, I made a persona 5 fanfic. It had a bunch of cool ideas to it; I had a basic story outline, the RWBY caste had personas researched and given to them, there were many palaces to explore and this all happened while he escaped the law. Needless to say this story was fleshed out. But then the fateful day came.

I was literally at the final boss, a few steps away from fighting the big baddy himself, when all of a sudden my PS3(Yes, I said PS3, bite me.) decided to lock me out of my game because my DLC 'wasn't mine'. So there I was, flabbergasted at the fact I was minutes away from the games end only to be stopped in my tracks. I put over 120 hours into a game only to have it stripped away from me.

This put me into a rut, I wanted nothing to do with persona 5 anymore and I lost interest in the story I once created. But now things have changed, I was playing persona 3, thinking about an idea for that protag to be in RWBY when all this new crap for persona 5 came out. You had persona Q2, persona 5 the royal, persona 5 dancing star night, Joker in smash!

My love for persona 5 was reduced to embers, but slowly it became a roaring flame once more. Now this story as come into the fanfic world. It will be a new story separate from the old one but will share some aspects and ideas I had before. Only this time, I have some ground rules.

Joker will be named Akira Kurusu instead of !*#$%^%($#^ because persona 5 the !* $#& doesn't exist.

Joker will kinda work like he does in smash ultimate for plot reasons.

Joker will be able to freely travel from earth to remnant through new parts of the plot.

Joker will slowly get his friends to join his quest in remnant and even pull people unrelated to the phantom thieves into the realm of RWBY.

Joker will start out weak because he's self trained and needs to regain his power.

Joker will become very powerful through the unique chemistry personas and aura have.
