"Shrimp um do you want to go on a mission?""Sure I'd love to Gajeel." It was suppose to be a simple mission. Take out a few dark gulid mages. That was suppose to be it. So wy is she dead?! Gajeel had tears falling down his cheeks as he saw the solid script mage look like she was sleeping but he know she wasn't."Papa why are they burying mommy? She said that we would all go to see the Sakura tree this year." His and Levy's daughter, Ai said. Her shouts for them to stop and mommy filled the funeral filled with tears. Gajeel just held her and stared at the coffin as the dirt piled on it. Never to be opened again. As they got home Ai ran into her room and locked it. He softly knocked on the door"Ai ...do you want to talk about it?" he asked hoping to not futher upset her."No" was her muffled response. He sighed and walked to the living room where the cake for Ai's birthday today stood."Happy birthady to...you." he whispered as he put the cake away. Then he went to his room and lais down on his bed exhausted."Shrimp... i'm sorry." he whispered at the picture of him,Levy and Ai when she qas a baby in fron of Fairy Tail a week after Levy gave birth. He felt like crying but didn't knowing he's tired of crying and closed his eyes falling asleep.
~Time skip 11 years~
"Dad wake up we have to go!" Gajeel opened his eyes to see his now 17 year old daughter."I'm up just wait a minute,kid." he said getting dressed after his daughter left."It's been 11 years huh,Shrimp.." he said to himself. After leaving the house they went to Fairy Tail."Daddy you don't have to drop me off i want to go." Ai said. He smiled at her and said"Okay.". Tehn they went to a graveyard looking for a specific grave. That was when they found it. The one for..Levy Redfox."Hey Mom Igeel and.." Ai started as Gajeel watched his daughter talk about what happened this year and smilied. It was nice seeing her happyit took so long for her to stop blameing herself for being a "bad girl". When she finished Gajeel kneeled down and said"Hey shrimp good to see you're doing well." he started to replay the old but still fresh memories of."It's been hard at times to raise Ai but I've tried my best to raise her right and I promise to protect her."After all he is the Iron Dragon,Gajeel. He has to protect he's princess like a good Dragon does.
