Hop A Plane
A short girl with short chocolate brown hair and an equally short patience checked her watch for what seemed like the millionth time and gave an irritated sigh. She crossed her arms, closed her hazel eyes and put her head back on the headrest of the seat she was sitting in. Another agitated sigh let loose.
She was waiting- however impatiently- in a cold, grey airport terminal. She listened to the rain pounding against the floor to ceiling windows- it didn't do much to improve her mood.
She let out a low groan as she opened her eyes and lifted her head off the headrest. She stood up in a sudden quick motion and walked to the huge windows, a scowl turning her fair features sour. She shoved her hand into her pants pocket and pulled out her phone.
It buzzed with a text message and she opened the message and read it. 'hey beautiful. turn around.'
In an instant, her dark mood lifted, and her scowl turned into a bright smile. She turned around, expectant.
As she saw the one person she had been waiting so impatiently for, her heart soared.
There stood her sister, her twin, her other half, just a mere ten feet away.
"Sara," she breathed.
Their bodies melted into each other as she closed the gap between them, Sara's bags falling to the ugly-patterned carpet of the airport terminal.
"Tegan," Sara said as she breathed in her sister's familiar smell . "God, I've missed you."
Tegan smiled as Sara nuzzled her head into the space between her neck and shoulder.
"I've missed you too, Sar. More than you can even imagine," Tegan murmured into Sara's dark brown hair- a shade of brown identical to Tegan's.
They stood there, embracing each other in that cold, grey airport terminal for a long time, until Tegan interrupted the silence.
"Come on, let's get you home." She slowly released Sara and picked up her bags in one hand. She took Sara's hand in the other.
Together they left the airport, steps and heartbeats synchronized, fingers linked together.
As they got into Tegan's car, Sara leaned over to Tegan in the driver's seat, and placed a sweet, yet passionate kiss on her lips.
As she pulled away, she gently leaned her forehead against Tegan's. "I love you, Teegs," she said as she stared into her eyes.
Tegan gazed into the hazel eyes identical to her own. "I love you too, Sar. Don't ever leave me again."
Sara leaned back into her own seat, a smile playing across her lips. "Don't worry. I won't."
She closed her eyes and leaned her head against her headrest as Tegan started the car and drove away, leaving the airport far behind.
A/N: Pure fluff. So much fluff. I could stuff a pillow with all this fluff.
Sometimes I just get ideas and I have to write them down before they slip away and this was one of those. Sorry it's so short. It's just a quick oneshot.
And if you wanted to drop a review, you know, just right down there, that'd be ok. :3
