Ok this is a set of Haikus I wrote for LOTF. They genrally go in chronological order. hope you enjoy.
Lord of the Flies Haikus
The sound of the shell
Rings loud on the boat-shaped isle
To gather young boys.
Having no knowledge,
Acting like a crowd of kids
Trying to be adults.
Not obeying leads
To a fine kill to feed all.
But the fire went out.
Pig's head on a stick
Which is left for what they fear
Is what they should fear
The innocent one
Climbs the cliff to find the truth
Which others will not hear.
Truth is unwanted
So the messenger must die
So one can hold power.
Civilisation
The one thing he has not got
Is ever lost to him.
Two boys have perished
'It was just an accident'
Begged the destroyed boy.
