This starts right after the step scene on Beggin' On Your Knees ends.
Jade was sitting down when all of a sudden she got a text message. She pulled it out, read it and burst into tears flying into the kitchen. She sat down at the table and began sobbing so hard she could hardly see straight. Beck quickly followed seeing his girlfriend's distress. Tori came in a second later. Andre followed quickly after. Beck thought maybe Jade was just upset about the argument they were having although Jade doesn't normally get upset like that.
"Jade," he asked gently, "What happened?"
"Thattextwasfrommycousin," she sobbed, "Avaisdead"
"Slow down," Tori said, "Spaces are our friends"
Beck gave Tori a look and asked Jade to repeat that.
"That text was from my cousin," Jade said slower, "Ava is dead"
Ava was Jade's twin sister and her best friend. Jade burst into tears once more. Beck wasted no time taking her in his arms and holding her. She made his shirt wet with her tears.
