Chapter 1: The tale begins
I am a wolf named Candid Dawg. I am black with a white undercoat. I go out at night and stay up all day. I have a friend named Avalon Vamp. When we were just little pups we used to go into the woods and get into trouble. There was a nasty mean troll that lived in this ugly cabin. He kind of looked like your average Grandpa. I also love all kinds of meat and I'm kind of a vegaterian. Oh, and I love fish. One time me and Avalon (AKA Ava) went into the woods and found something no other wolves had seen before. It was... I can't tell you yet. You'll find out in the story.
