Community College

"Somebody said, it could be here, we could be roped up, tied up, dead in a year" - 'At Least it Was Here' (theme song to Community), The 88

Dean surveyed the Greendale campus with undisguised dismay, while Sam was obviously putting on a brave face.

"It's great you're going back to college and all, but surely you can do better than this?" hissed Dean, gesturing at the college flag which surely couldn't be what it looked like.

Sam cringed away to allow the college mascot to pass by without touching whatever it was, before turning back to his brother and shrugging. "What you mean with our considerable savings after working the last decade at such well-paying jobs?"

Dean's retort was lost as he was accosted by a small, excitable bald man, who didn't so much walk as bounce off the walls.

"Woohoo, tell Jeffrey I am moving on!" the strange, bespectacled man cried as he leaned in close, then closer still, to inspect Dean's name tag. He took extra special care to ensure that the sticker was firmly stuck in place on Dean's chest. "Well, hi there! So you're Dean? I'm the Dean. You know-" he added, his voice turning husky, "-I bet you're really good at paint balling."

Dean looked pleadingly to Sam for help. "Are we supposed to gank him or pay him the tuition fee?"

"I can't count the reasons I should stay. One by one they all just fade away" - 'At Least it Was Here' (theme song to Community), The 88
