A/n: Well this is certainly another pirate story! We need more of these=) Anyways, I hope you will enjoy this! This story will be from Will & Elle's POV. I don't know why I just thought it would be Will for a change =) of course with addition to his twin sister!!
Disclaimer: I do not own Pirates of the Caribbean (unfortunately) except Elle.
Prologue: Will
"You got the sails pretty good Elle!" One of our merchant sailors named Benjamin winked at my twin sister Elle Turner. Elle loved to pull up the sails whenever we were sailing. We were on our way looking for our father, Bill Turner. I never got to do it because it didn't really phase me. It was her fun.
"Will this is fun! You should try it!" She giggled. I shook my head. It was good to hear her laugh again though. Her silence in the Turner home with just our godfather, Robert, made me cringe. Robert is a good man and everything it's just ever since mum died and father is gone she's been extra quiet. She wouldn't even talk to me.
"Nah, I'm not really up to it." I called back to her. All I really cared about was looking for my father. In my heart I still knew he was alive. I don't remember our father much though and I don't think Elle did either because we were only five years old. Just the sound of his voice for the most part. I began to play with my medallion that father sent me. It's real Aztec gold with a pirate skull on it. I never received a letter explaining why I got it or what it was for. Elle got a little jealous.
"Oh come on William! This is amazing! I bet father loved it." She muttered the last few words under her breath. I nodded. He probably did love it.
"Um, Mr. Benjamin sir, how much more till we get to the main land in Port Royal?" I asked curiously.
A middle-aged man with a white sailor cap and dark clothes came towards me. He had gray hair and his face was a bit wrinkly. This was our first mate Benjamin. "Soon I suppose, young sir."
"How soon?" I pressed putting on my innocent face, as any other twelve-year- old boy would do to get what he wanted.
The man sighed and whipped his sweaty brow, "All right Will, bout two or three hours." I smiled.
"Thank you kindly, Mr. Benjamin sir!" I started to swing my legs. I was sitting on top of the barrel when Elle came over. She sat in the other one. "Hey Elle, do you want to wear it for a bit?" I asked as she was staring at my necklace since she sat down.
She grinned. "Really?! You wouldn't mind?"
I laughed, "Nah, you can borrow it for a bit." I took off the medallion and handed it to her. She carefully held it in the palm of her petite hands and studied the looks of it. She was in complete awe.
"Will, what do you think this is?"
"It's a pirate medallion. I guess dad must have found it in a treasure chest when he was sailing on the merchant ship." I shrugged. I didn't really know where father got it. It's very unusual.
"Kids, time for lunch." Robert called. I nodded.
"Pfft, Elle put it on and let's go." I watched her put it over her as it hung low just above her tiny chest and little ruffled lace on her lime green gown. Elle grabbed my hand and we both walked down into the luncheon cabin.
