Words do matter

A teen with a voice powerful enough to accomplish whatever he wants with a single word has to go through numerous obstacles in his life finds himself solace with a bunch of misfits just like him. But as secrets are spilled and lies are dug up in a gamble to find his lost family, one truly does find out that promises must be kept, and every word matters.

Well...hello I guess.

So...why this story? Why did you click on this in the first place?

Truth be told, I have no idea why I even created this story in the first place. Perhaps it was because out of boredom, or it was because I wanted to try my hand at writing like other amazing writers in this fanfiction community out there. It would also do me good to just write out what I feel and expect from this fictional universe that I had came up with.

Well...instead of me rambling here, let me just do a quick summary of the story, because even I have no idea of how it would end up in the end.

The story compromises around a guy who has special powers, simliar to the guy Black Bolt from the Inhumans/Marvel. (He speaks one word everything dies etc). Now, since I'm not so familiar with the character himself nor am I a huge marvel fan, I read up about this character's abilities and figured that a character could be created. Not exactly taken out of Marvel to suit my own needs, but one in which I could be able to create my own story out of.

In a nutshell, Protagonist is a normal 15/16 year old boy gifted with an ability that could help him in any way that he wished with a single word spoken, but with horrible side effects. Protagonist is an introvert who does not like being around others in fear of harming them with his words, so he decides to pretend that he is mute.

More character development around said Protagonist would appear in the future...should I even decide to write a full story about him.

I plan to address the numerous problems that we currently face in the world, like racism, LGBTQ, sexism and others that I can't currently recall off the top of my head.

So if you are against this type of book...you can go read another story if you wish. Just leave me and my opinion be.

I'm probably going to upload the first chapter of this Protagonist in a week or two, or just choose to scrap the idea completely. While my writing might not be up to the other fanfiction writer's levels, I feel that this is a perfect platform to learn about others.

So... if you are lucky or unlucky(depends whether you are a fan of this idea of a story or not), I'll post a first part just so to get reviews and whatnot.
