"I'll take the one with the gold eyes and wavy black hair." Bruce muttered as he nodded his head towards me. Ms. Metenera giggled as she grabbed my arm and threw me at his feet. "Miss Dakotah is very," she paused and frowned at me then regained her smile for Bruce Wayne. "Creative. She has always drawing and sketching and writing. Always in her room, alone." Ms. Metenera looked at me with the fakest smile I've ever seen and grabbed my arm. "Now, Dakotah, be good for Mr. Wayne. He's a very nice man and he'll take good care of you. Now go up stairs and pack." I snatched my arm away from her hand, "It's Koti." I corrected her and ran up to my old room and packed up my sketchbook, notebook, swimsuit, jeans, T-shirts, etc., etc., etc. hi-tops and my few hoodies. I laced up my combat boots, zipped up my small, purple duffle bag and slung it over my shoulder. I ran down to the front desk and dropped my bag on the floor. Bruce looked at me and back at the adoption certificate, signed his name and smiled at me. "Let's go, Dakotah." He said and opened the front door for me. Grabbing my duffel, I walked past him and grudged, "It's Koti." Bruce walked out behind me and opened his car door. I opened the door to the passenger side and tossed my bag on the floor. "Don't expect me to call you 'Dad' Brucey." I told him as I clicked my seatbelt. He ignored my not-so-sarcastic comment and we sped off to Wayne Manor.

About an hour later we arrived at his mansion. We were greeted at the door by his butler, Alfred. Alfred smiled at me warmly, "Ah, so this is the young girl you were speaking of. What's your name, darling?" he said. I liked this guy already. "Dakotah. But I hate it and prefer Koti." I told him and gave one of my rare smiles. "What a lovely name. Now, follow me to you room." "No prob." Alfred let me up a huge staircase and to an even huger hallway. He stopped a little while in and opened a door. Inside was a room with light pink walls and dark wood flooring. In a corner was a king-sized canopy bed with silk white bedding and across from it were gold French doors. I opened them and realized it was a walk-in closet that was that was the size of my old room back the orphanage. "I can paint the room, right? And add more furniture, too?" I asked, not loving the pink walls. Alfred smiled at me again and sat in a leather recliner. "Anyway you like, Miss Koti." I smiled the biggest smile I've ever smiled and jumped on my bed. I squealed like a spoiled little girl who just a pony for her birthday. "I'm so gonna love it here! It can't any better than this!" but just then it did, because a cute boy about my age walked in the room right then.
