The War Begins
Chapter 1: Everyone Becomes Friends Again
The day they return to school is the day everything gets back to normal. Gretchen, Karen and Regina were standing next to Cady's locker waiting for her. Cady was walking with Janis when all of a sudden Janis froze. "What's going on?" asked Cady, all shocked. "Look over there. It's The Plastics! And I thought they broke up for good." answered Janis. Cady turned to her locker to see The "Old" Plastics just standing there staring at her. "Good morning star shine. Are you ready to chill with us?" asked Regina. "What? I'm sorry but I thought we weren't friends any more." replied Cady. "Oh no. we're friends. We realized we made a mistake by making that book and by not allowing others to join our group. So we're allowing anyone to hang out with us." said Regina. "And by the way, we're not The Plastics any more. The Plastics are gone." added Karen.
"So are you in?" asked Gretchen. "Yeah sure." said Cady. "Good morning Janis. I'm sorry for all the times I was mean to you and for calling you a lesbian. Deep inside I know you are a wonderful girl and you deserve to be treated equally. And Cady I'm sorry for every mean thing I've done to you. I know you didn't push me in front of the bus and I'm sorry I blamed you." said Regina. "It's okay man. I'm sorry for everything I've done. I knew I shouldn't have come between you and Aaron Samuels." said Cady.
"Oh, it's not a problem. If you didn't go out with him then I would never find my true love Anthony." replied Regina. "How is Aaron Samuels any ways?" asked Gretchen. "He's sweet." said Cady. "That's good. I hope you two remain together forever. You're so meant for him and remember I'm always here for you hun. Any ways I got to run." said Karen. Regina, Karen and Gretchen turned around and walked away smiling.
"Wow! Regina changed a lot. I guess she learned a lesson from the accident." said Janis. "Yeah. Maybe she's not that bad after all." said Cady.
Cady managed to get to calculus class just before the bell rung. Of course, as usual she sat behind Aaron Samuels. "Good morning Cady. I see that you and Regina have become friends again." said . Ms. Norbury. "Yeah actually we have. She's a nice friend." said Cady. Just then Aaron Samuels walked in. "Hey Cady." said Aaron. "Hey baby. What's up?" asked Cady. "Nothing. I've heard Regina has let you back into her group." said Aaron. "Yeah as a matter of fact, she's being nice to everyone." answered Cady. "Yeah I heard she changed her ways." said Aaron. Just then the bell rang for class. "I love you." said Cady. "I love you too." said Aaron.
