A/N: This is just an idea I have for a story of the Marauders. This is just the prologue, but I hope to go into the lives of these men that all affected Harry Potter. I hope to be accurate. Please review and tell me if I should continue… I realize that there are a lot of Marauders stories, but I hope to bring their story to life. Thanks! Also if there is anyone out there that would like to beta my story I would really appreciate it!
Prologue:
Everyone at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry knows who the Marauders are. They are infamous for pranks and their ability to hardly ever get caught or weasel their way out of detention. They make girls swoon and boys wish they were them. They are like brothers, who are so similar, yet completely unique. They have made there mark in school and out. The Marauders have continued to live beyond their seven years at Hogwarts. They have led the path for other troublemakers to try and live up to their standards, many have failed, but a few have succeeded.
The Marauders have also gone beyond the walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Each one of these boys has played a significant role in the life of Harry Potter, The Chosen One. They each have made their mark, most self sacrificing, while others pure evil and betrayal. These boys are James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew or Prongs, Padfoot, Moony, and Wormtail.
James Potter the boy with the messy black hair and the hazel eyes. He is the chaser for Gryffindor as well as the captain. Many girls want to be with him, but he only has his eyes on one, Lily Evans, but she won't give him the time of day. He can be cocky and a prat, but most of it is a show. He is fiercely loyal and puts his entire heart into what he believes is right something that he passed along to his only son, Harry.
Sirius Black has long, shaggy black hair with piercing grey eyes, which many girls at Hogwarts find attractive. He is a blood traitor, well at least according to his family. He is full of life, but does not always think his actions through. He does not always trust himself to do the right thing due to his past. However, he is a strong man that just needs to let go of previous prejudice against him and others.
Remus Lupin the shy boy with the sandy hair, who also happens to be a werewolf. He works hard and doesn't let many people in because of his 'furry little problem'. He tries so hard because he feels he needs to constantly make up for his condition. He allows it to hinder him, but with the help of his three closest friends he steps out, just a bit, and lets them get know the real Remus Lupin in all states.
Peter Pettigrew, the odd ball of the group. He wasn't very handsome. He was round and had a rat like face. However, he was a part of the Marauders. He did not have any remarkable athletic or academic abilities, but he loved to be a part of this exclusive group. However, as time past he soon began to realize that he was not appreciated in the group and searched for a better, more powerful group to be a part of. He was the traitor of the group which led to the eventual death of James and Lily Potter, as well as the other Marauders.
This is the story of the four boys and their life at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The journey begins their fifth year, the year of turning points, the year that they begin to turn into the men that they will be. This is the story that will not be forgotten. It will live on forever, as a time of choices that will affect everyone's future muggles and wizards alike.
