Disclaimer: The Sound Of Music is my favorite movie of all time and I don't own it. I decided to make a sequel to it. It belongs to Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein except a few new characters that come in later on and I also own the idea for this story.
Chapter One
Revealing A Huge Secret
Gretl, Marta, Brigitta, Louisa, Kurt and Friedrich are out the backyard playing ball.
"Does anyone know where Liesl is?" Marta asked.
"I think she's up in her room crying again." Kurt answered.
Gretl looks at the house.
"Mother has been sure acting strange lately." Gretl said.
Georg walks up to the children.
"Have any of you seen your mother?" Georg asked.
"No, we haven't father." Brigitta answered.
"Did you looking by the Pavilion?" Louisa asked.
"No, I didn't look there yet." Georg answered.
"Well it might be a good idea to check there" Louisa said.
Georg smiles, he walks to Pavilion and finds Maria sitting inside on one of the benches. Georg walks in the Pavilion and sits next to Maria.
Maria looks at Georg and smiles a little.
"Are you ever going to tell me what's wrong?" Georg asked.
"I will tell you when I'm ready." Maria answered.
Maria gets up and starts walking away. Georg stands up, he runs after Maria and grabs her arm.
"I really want to know what's wrong because I'm worried about you." Georg said.
Maria turns around to face Georg.
"I'm not ready to tell just yet." Maria replied.
Maria runs inside the house, she upstairs to the room that she now shares with Georg and slams the door. Liesl hears her parent's room door close so she goes to see what's wrong.
"May I come in?" Liesl asked.
"Yes, come on in." Maria answered.
Liesl walks into her parent's room and sits on the bed next to her mother.
"What's wrong mother?" Liesl asked.
"I just don't feel that great." Maria answered.
Lisel hugs her mother.
"It's probably just the flu or something." Liesl said.
Marta knocks on the door and pokes her head in.
"Supper is ready." Marta replied.
Marta, Liesl and Maria walk to the kitchen. Liesl beside Gretl.
Maria sits next to Georg. Frau Schmidt sets the food on the table.
Maria looks at her plate and picks at her food. Kurt and Louisa exchange looks.
"Is something wrong with your food mother?" Kurt asked.
"There's nothing wrong with my food." Maria answered in a yell.
Maria takes off outside to the back porch. Georg goes outside after Maria and pulls her up into his embrace.
"You're really starting to worry me." Georg said.
"Will you stop worry if I tell you what's wrong?" Maria asked.
"Yes I will." Georg answered.
Maria looks up at Georg.
"I'm going to have a baby." Maria said.
Georg's eyes widen, he spins Maria around in his arms and kisses her.
"Why were so scared of telling me?" Georg asked.
"I just wanted to make sure that what's it was first before I told you." Maria answered.
Georg and Maria walk back into the kitchen hand in hand.
"Are you going to tell the children the good news?" Georg asked in a whisper.
"I think we should both tell them." Maria answered back in a whisper.
"Why are you two whispering about?" Friedrich asked.
"Your mother and I have some exciting news." Georg answered.
'What is it?" Liesl asked.
Maria looks at Georg and he puts his arm around her.
"I am going to have baby." Maria answered.
The children run over and hug Maria at the same time.
Gretel looks up at Maria.
"I'm not going to be the youngest anymore." Gretl said.
"That's right sweetie." Georg replied.
Georg hugs Maria.
