Here ya go, Sakura Scout, a slightly longer oneshot! Yay!... not that it's actually all that long...

Inspired by the Keyblade necklace sets goldeneyes713 and I bought each other for Christmas—of course I get the ones without jump-rings to attach them to a chain. :P Enjoy!

"I had the Moogles make it for me."

Riku bounces the metal keepsake in his hand as he peers at it. Xion gauges his reaction through her eyelashes, the faintest hint of a blush high in her cheeks. "Is this...?" he murmurs.

"Oblivion. The Key we have in common." Xion strokes the Keyblade-shaped charm, then rests her fingers on his wrist. "You're, like, the only one here without some sort of necklace or accessory, so I thought I'd... well." She gestures at his hand. "I'd make you one. The Moogles put some charm on it while they were at it. I think it was defensive..."

"Thank you."

Xion's shoulders sag in relief as she grins up at him. "Aw, it's nothing. Here, I had to buy a chain from Donald's nephews—who are learning how to be businessmen from their Uncle Scrooge, if the price tag tells me anything. Would you believe they charged me two hundred munny for a silly little Power Chain?"

He has to laugh at that, even when Xion frowns. "And you still bought it?"

"I didn't have the time to locate the resources to make it for free." Without taking the token back, she threads it on the silver chain, leaving the ends to dangle from his hand. "You'll have to put it on yourself, seeing as I'm almost a foot shorter than you."

"Half a foot," he admonishes, and he tilts his head down to her level. Xion shakes her head at him, but she clips the chain over his hair. "Thanks."

"You're welcome." With a flourish she pulls the silver spikes out from under the chain, stepping back to admire her handiwork. "I just thought you'd like to have something of me with you wherever you go."

While he's still down here... Xion grins when he kisses her, and he wonders if she can't taste everything he wants to say about this little gift. Probably not—but he's guessing that she already knew what it means to him.
