Justin came in and put an arm around his sister.

"Alex," he said, "I know how hard it is that you had to break up with Mason but let me tell you something. I hate him."

"Why would you hate him," Alex asked

"I hate him because he hurt my little sister," Justin growled, "and frankly he should rot in the underworld"

Alex smiled sadly. She found it a comfort that her brother loved her so much.

"I love you Justin," Alex said.

"Yeah well I love you too," Justin said, "But Mason is still going to rot in the underworld for hurting you"

"Don't act too rashly," Alex said, "He's not a bad guy. He's just got jealousy issues"

"So did I," Justin said, "Before you came along it was only me and Candice. I was the baby of the family and when you came along I was no longer the baby. I wasn't the youngest. I wasn't the oldest. I was in the middle and I was very jealous for awhile. But I always loved you and I never hurt you."

"Oh you never got mad at me," Alex questioned

"Yeah sure I got mad at you once or twice-"

"Or 17 times," Alex teased.

"Or 17 times," Justin said, "But I was young and immature at that point. Mason hurt you beyond all belief. And yes I am jealous of you which is why I get mad at you"

"You're like the wizard prince. How come you're jealous of me?"

"Because Alex you're better then me. Hell, you won the first wizard competition and you got elected Wizard of the year. I always figure that I'm going to be the star but when it's you or... well it's never Max but when it's you it's like confirming that I'm not the best anymore"

Alex slapped him upside the head.

"Justin Ernestize Russo, just because I win sometimes does not make you any less of the best. You will always be the best. You're the reason I'm not in the wrong place now. You're the reason that things are alright now and you are the reason why Rosie isn't in the underworld-"

"No. You are the reason she's not in the underworld. I didn't do anything. What I did could have caused everyone to be messed up"

"Justin the point is I love you and don't be so hard on yourself," Alex said

Justin hugged her.

"Love you too," he said
