Stretch and Squirt

Chapter 1
Jodi raised her eyebrows and a smile lifted her lips as she scanned the boarding house. This will be her home for next four years as she attended high school. She was so excited about chances to meet new people, particulary guys, of course. It was good to finally be in the city, she was so sick of living at the farm and chasing after cows and sheeps every day.
"Hello, freedom!", Jodi whispered and still smiling, she entered the building.
Hallway was full of students some of them were sitting and chatting over a cup of coffe, the others were waiting at the reception desk to get a key from their room. Obviously new people here, just like herself. Jodi stood in a line, looking around. Boy, this will be heaps of fun! Her Mum was sceptic about sending her away, but Jack stood up for Jodi and said that it will be a good experience for her, to become more independent and learn new things. And now here she was.
"Jodi Fountain?", called the receptionist.
"Right here", replied Jodi, making her way through the crowd. As she reached the desk, receptionist, an older woman with eyeglasses at the top of her nose looked at her, nodded slightly and than brought her glance back to the paper, saying "Very well. Jodi Fountain… you are in room with…", picking her glance once again, a woman looked to the crowd and called out a name "Kate Manfredi?"
There was a commotion and a thud heard from the crowd and people turned around to see what was going on. Jodi also turned to check the situation.
"Damn it!", brunette girl swore over her suitcase which dropped on the floor and opened, things falling out "Stupid thing!"
Without thinking much, Jodi went toward the girl and kneeling down, she started to pick up few pieces of clothes, saying:
"Here, let me help you."
Girl looked up at her and smiled gratefully, and in that moment, receptionist's voice was heard again:
"Kate Manfredi?"
"Yeah, that's me, sorry", brunette girl stuffed the last piece of clothes in her bag. A receptionist woman tossed the key in their direction and Jodi caught it.
"Room 81, girls", said receptionist "Okay, next. Patricia Sanders?"
"Well, guess that we're roommates", said Jodi with a smile.
"Yeah, guess we are", Kate smiled back "I'm Kate. Kate Manfredi", she added, stretching out her hand. Accepting it, Jodi joked:
"So I've heard", as both girls giggled, Jodi accepted Kate's hand and shaking it, she said "Jodi Fountain. Come on, I'll help you with that suitcase."
And with that, girls went up the stairs to find their room.
