Dean hobbled away from the rough water.
Sam grabbed his arm but was pushed back. "Get off me."
Dean sat, twisting his bare foot up as far as his sodden jeans would allow.
"What the fuck?!" he sputtered, angry and in pain.
"Looks like sea urchin spines," Sam supplied sensibly.
Dean shot him a look of pure acid.
"It's their only protection, Dean. They can't just move away if some big foot decides to trod all over them."
"I will end you." Quiet. Eyes shooting daggers.
Sam paused. Then sighed. "Give me your foot."
"No."
Sam took it anyway. "Baby."
