"Alright ladies let's play the 'Which One is Hikaru?' game" the Hitachiin brothers said to their guests in perfect unison while flashing a smile at their bubbly guests.
"Oh I just don't know you're both so identical I don't think I'll be able to tell~" one customer said with a sigh.
"Yeah, I agree it's just too difficult" the other exclaimed. The twins kept their facade as they continued on with entertaining their guests.
"Hah. No it's not" Haruhi stated as she walked by. Hikaru and Kaoru stared at her with utter curiosity as she, being the only person aside from them, can tell the two apart. As she left, both twins couldn't help but stare and for once didn't have a snarky reply.
It was a mundane day for the host club and as everyone else was going about their own business, a pair of devilishly charming twins sat on their chair and looked up at the sky envying its clarity. The younger twin with his eyes glazed over and full focus on the sky pondered the many outcomes of the actions they have and have not done and the older twin, in a similar manner, was busy trying to figure out why he felt so strange when it came to the cross dressing heroine. Since their birth they've always had each other never relying on anyone but themselves because as far as they were concerned it was them against the world. That statement held true until a mere commoner threw their world off balance.
"Are you guys okay? You're not as chipper as you normally are" Haruhi casually stated interrupting the twin's thoughts.
The twins sat up while making their way towards Haruhi invading her personal bubble and jokingly said, "Sorry for making you worry Haruhi. We'll make it up to you later when we're in private."
"Man why do I even bother" Haruhi sighed at the twin's remark.
"Haru-chan!~ Play with me and Usa-chan for a little bit 'kay?" Mitsukuni Haninozuka the golden-haired third year boy Lolita exclaimed in a rather cute manner.
"Coming!" Haruhi replied then turned towards the twins and said, "Whatever it is I hope you guys feel better". With that remark she made her way towards the anxious Honey and left the twins with their thoughts once again.
"Hey Kaoru," Hikaru started as he looked up towards his brother," Are you okay?"
"Yeah are you?" Kaoru replied, searching Hikaru's face for a solution that will clear his mind.
"Yeah, wonder why she suddenly said that" Hikaru sighed and stared at the sky once more. Kaoru stared at his brother and said in a low inaudible voice, "I wonder when the spell on the carriage will wear off. What happens to me or to her then?"
"Hey Hikaru I'm bored" Kaoru said as he too sighed
'Ah clear skies. I wonder when mine will come.' Both twins unknowingly thought at the same time.
