Hey guys this is my second fanfiction here and I have had this plot bunny jumping around in my head for a long time. Now I am looking for a beta reader so please sign up for that if interested and I won't delay you any longer so please read and review but don't flame please and here is the story.
Minato Arisato crashed onto his bed with a loud and audible sigh. His sister Hamuko Arisato quietly tiptoed across the room and sat on the bed with him. They both knew what the other was thinking.
Minato murmured to his sister "Did we do the right thing with SEES?"
His sister sent him a questioning gaze before responding "Why would I? I got to meet amazing friends though they don't remember it and we stopped a Goddess."
Minato said "I know we did but nobody will remember us for our sacrifices. Hell, even our maxed out social links have forgot us. So what was the point?"
Hamuko quickly responded "The point was that we did this for everybody we met and most importantly our parents. I think they would be proud." She stood up and crossed the room to the window.
Minato was still going however and whispered "Hamuko you know it as well as I do don't you? You feel your soul slipping." He heard her suck in a breath. "Why do we have to put up with this shit?" He spat viciously.
She turned around and glared at him. "Don't you dare start now. We beat Nyx because we thought that was what was right. We had no questions then so why now? What is so different?
Minato shouted right back at her "What is so different now is that nobody will remember us! Unless we get a miracle and everyone will suddenly appear on the rooftop and keep the promise I don't see the point of us sacrificing our souls! Why did it have to be us? Why couldn't we just live our lives without dying at the age of 16? I just want to know the point." He trailed off.
Hamuko opened up her mouth to respond but before she could, her brother sprung up and grabbed his jacket before stepping through his open door. She watched from his window as he trudged down the driveway and stalking off in the direction of Paulownia Mall. She sighed and left the room. She had other things to worry about. But one thing stuck out to her. While they both didn't see the same reasons each other saw they could agree on one thing alone. Like it all not they were the worlds Messiahs. And this they both thought was an okay reason to die for.
Finally done. I know this was quite short but it was meant to be a short one shot. I hope you did enjoy and I sincerely hope you review this. See you guys in the next story.
