HEYYYYYYYYYY! I know what you're thinking, "Why aren't you writing a chapter for 'Winning Over Sonny Munroe' instead of writing this oneshot?" Well, I just entered SWAC97's contest so I wanted to write the oneshot now! This oneshot takes place 2 years after Sonny went to Hollywood to be on So Random, so she was 18 at the time. And no, I don't like Miley Cyrus, but I chose this song for 2 reasons.

1: It fit perfectly with the story line.

2: You're not gonna believe this one: She called me! Okay, she was trying to call her sister and dialed the wrong number, but still! Imagine if a celebrity (that you didn't like) called you! Wouldn't you be kinda shocked? Because I am!

Disclaimer: I don't own SWAC or I Miss You by Miley Cyrus or Miley Cyrus (but I do own that phone call!). Maybe I'll get SWAC for...for...for just being awesome!

Random fact: I was writing this when (I thought) I heard Miley Cyrus singing, then I looked at the TV and saw Justin Bieber xD I've always said that Justin Bieber sounds like a girl, but I really thought that was Miley!

SPOV

"Chad, I can't believe he's gone!" I said, crying and putting my head on my boyfriend, Chad Dylan Cooper's, chest. My dad, David Munroe, died from lung cancer a few days ago, and we're at his funeral.

"It's gonna be okay, Sonny," Chad said. He was crying too even though he never met my dad.

"Would anyone like to come up to say a few words about David?" The priest asked. I went up there to talk.

"My dad was a great man. He used to call me his angel and that I was sent to him and my mom from Heaven (A/N would you capitalize that?). He would hold me close in his arms every night."

"I love the way he felt, he felt so strong. I never wanted him to leave, I wanted him to stay here holding me like he did before he passed."

"He used to call me his dreamer, and now I'm living my dream. I just wish he could see everything that's happening to me like all of you can. When I think about the past, I think about how time is flying too fast."

"I know that my dad's in a better place, but I wish I could see his face, and not frozen in time in a picture. I know that he's where he needs to be, but I wish that place was here with us."

"The truth is, I miss him. I miss his smile, and I can't stop shedding tears for him. I know that it's different now, but I still feel like he's here. My heart can't let him go," I finished, crying. I ran to Chad, who caught me in his arms.

"That was a beautiful speech, Sonny, just like you," Chad whispered in my ear. Everyone started clapping for me.

"Go Sonny!" One of my cousins yelled, I think it was Jake. Everyone except for Chad and I left while they put Dad into his coffin.

"Bye, Dad. I'll miss you," I whispered before I left with Chad. I started sobbing uncontrollably. Chad let me cry on his shirt and kissed my forehead.

"Everything's gonna be okay, Sonny," Chad said.

"I know, it just doesn't feel like it will," I said. And there was silence.

"You know, from the many times that I talked to my dad from California, I would tell him all the great stuff about you. I think he liked you," I said. That's when Mom came.

"Sonny, Dad didn't want anyone else for you. He loved Chad," Mom said. "We have to go, everyone's going to our house for the collation. And Dean Moriarti's coming too. That's Dean Moriarti (A/N lol from Wizards, Max kept saying that xD I had to put that in for my friend), coming to the collation but not the wake or the funeral. I don't get Dean," Mom said.

"Neither do I," I said. And with that, we all went to my house.

That was short, but explains what happened to Sonny's dad! Review!
