Idea I had for another Zero Day one-shot, family centered story and something for sibling's everywhere. I hope you all like it.

Addie woke up and felt a little tired, it had probably something to do with waking up to find Elinor sleeping beside her, probably from a bad dream and when she did that, Addie saw the old Ellie when she was little but now she had grown up bitter, spiteful and used harsh words, a completely different person.
She could've been there, she could have helped Ellie through growing up and helped her like what big sisters should have done, but she was taken and now had a job to do today, to give Shi to 'father' and continue on as if it was nothing and leave this life behind again.
Elinor started to stir and she closed her eyes again and pretended to sleep. She felt how her sister got off the bed slowing and yawned, she could only imagine what Elinor was thinking. She knew her sister had gotten up and off the bed.
She was about to open her eyes when she heard Ellie sniff and started talking to her, not knowing she was awake.
"I'm sorry for what I said and what I've been doing Ad… I had to do a lot of growing up when you were taken and I guess over the years I distanced myself and became someone you didn't recognize; I was scared back then, scared of my freakin shadow, afraid I was next. I cried and hoped you would return but you never did… you and still are my idol… when Mackenzie was born I had the big sister role and without you to help me, I had mom and dad and reassured me you would be found but you never were… until now.
I can't imagine what you had been through and I'm happy those psycho's are dead and they rot. I'm sorry about what happened between Darrow and I, it just happened and we dated for a couple of months until we broke up, I'm sorry how I've been treating you, mom and dad. I know you will forgive me and it's great to have you back Ad, I love you Addie."
Addie heard a couple of sniff 's and a sob. She soon heard footsteps with her door opening and closing . She sat up and felt tears in her eyes. Elinor had opened her walls and let out 8 years of everything that has happened, she did forgive her and hoped she would change and be the Elinor she remembered.
She would also do whatever it took to stop 'Father' and Michael from getting Shi, she hoped her parents, Darrow, Mackenzie and Elinor would forgive her for everything she had done.
"I love you too Ellie." She said softly.
