...Was it Worth it?

"Hey Sykes, what's happening to you..." my enemy trailed off. Sitting on my haunch on top of this grassy hill, my fur gently swayed with the wind blowing upon me. I looked at my paws, all I could see was blood painted on the pad of each paw, staining my ugly brown fur.

"I can't describe it," I replied, while gazing at the beautiful night sky. The moon only showing half of it's left side, the stars gently twinkling in the sky was the only thing that made me feel… calm. I ran my nose along the air that faintly smelt of Casa Blanca, the type of lily with an amazing smell. For some reason, this made me feel depressed even more.

"Was your sister the last of your family to… well, um… pass away?" she curiously asked. A rough wind blew upon us, I slowly turned around. Revealing my ruined face, covered in blood and tears.

"Her name was Lily! I killed her! It's all because she interfered!" I yelled furiously, pounding the ground with all my might.

"It was your fault for getting her into this," she harshly asserted. I screamed in anger in response.

"SHE INSISTED!" I screamed, then a very sharp pain crawled around my right shoulder. I groaned in pain and laid down on my stomach. "Damn Arceus… he's the one who brought this upon us all!" I took a glance at the painful wound on my right shoulder.

"We may be enemies Sykes Colonomos, but that doesn't change the fact we both have feelings," she told me. I sighed back and scratched the side of my face with my paw.

"You're embarrassing yourself," I replied in a harsh tone. I turned around then crawled towards her. "It's about time I did this." I leaned in, exchanging our lips we got really into it. It seemed like it felt forever, it… made me feel at ease. I enjoyed it… I pulled away from the kiss, and chuckled as I saw a bit of saliva drip from her mouth. She had a mortified look on her face, her face blushed as red as a red rose. She titled her head and sharpened her gaze at me, then hiccuped… completely out of the blue. I don't know what happened there, but I was laughing like I've never even had a bad thought in my life. She was so silent, her reaction was so tensed and yet really hilarious.

"Well if you keep that up, I m-might as well just k-kill you here now!" she stammered in embarrassment and gave me another sharp look…

Before she encountered another hiccup…
