For Rie, whom I LOVELOVELOVE 3
Sunlight shone through the closed blinds, long, thin streams of light warming the bed. Wally moved slightly, mumbling under his breath. The redhead's eyes moved behind his lids, and Roy wondered absently what his boyfriend was dreaming about.
Sighing, Roy laid back against the pillows, eyes trained on the ceiling. Wally moved again, and this time, his eyes cracked open, focusing on Roy's stubbly chin.
"What're you thinking?" he murmured, hand finding Roy's under the blankets.
Roy's eyes slid to Wally's face, taking in the bruises that hadn't healed. He grimaced and tugged Wally closer. "I'm thinking that maybe you should stop getting hurt."

"Stop what?" Roy asked, glaring. "Stop worrying about you? Okay, sure. Maybe I'll go jump off a building and start flying, too."
Wally groaned loudly, turning away from Roy, snatching his hand back in the process. "Shut up."
Roy's glare was enough to make Wally's cheeks heat, and stomach coil. "Well then don't say stupid shit, okay? Of course I'm going to worry about you, idiot. I worry about the people I lo—"
He stopped abruptly, skin darkening. Wally sat up then, eyes wide, grin on his face. "You totally just—"
Turning over, away from the speedster, Roy hissed, "I did not just say that and if I did it's no big deal so we should just stop talking about it."
Wally's laugh was warm against his neck, and Roy was turned over, his boyfriend staring down at him. "Well, since it's no big deal or anything," he whispered, lips barely grazing Roy's as he spoke. "I love you too."
Wally pressed his lips against Roy's.
