I Feel Pretty/Unpretty- Glee Cast
Sam frowned at himself in the bathroom mirror. He cocked his head to the side. Then the other. There was something wrong with the image. He didn't like what was frowning back at him. And he couldn't pick out exactly what it was.
Puck smirked at himself in his cars rear-view mirror. Don't bother looking up stud in the dictionary, just look at Puck. Because that's what he was. A stud. And he knew it too. And he most definitely was not afraid to share his opinion.
Sam began to run fingers through his lemon-dyed blonde hair, trying to part it in every which way. It didn't do anything but muss up his already messy hair. He smiled widely at his reflection, staring intently at his teeth. They were fine, nice, white and straight.
Puck stepped out of his car, fixing his empty backpack on his shoulder. He braced himself for the slushies that he knew were gonna be plummeting at him. He inhaled, then stepped into school- sorry, Hell.
Straight. Sam's wide smile faded. That's what was wrong. He frowned again, eyebrows knitted, lips in a pout.
Puck was glad that he chose to come to school late, considering there was no one in the hallways. He let out the breath he was holding, and strode towards his locker. 'Fag' was written on a piece of paper, taped in a messy fashion.
Sam's mental thought was disturbed by grunting and snarling from outside the bathroom. He quickly walked out, to see Puck ripping up a piece of paper angrilly. His face was red, and he was sure he was crying.
Puck didn't cry. And he didn't get mad. Actually, Puck didn't do much beside fuck things and look hot. But this was it, this was his boiling point. He couldn't hold it in, and he didn't plan on it. He felt... ugly. He just felt -as gay -and as hypocritical as that sounds- as it sounds- unpretty.
Sam place a hand on Puck's shoudler, "Calm down," he whispered, "You're okay. It's okay."
Puck let the piece of paper fall to the ground, before letting out one sob, and running a hand down his face, trying to hide behind it.
Sam moved Puck's hand from his face, holding it tightly in his own, "I love you Puck," he whispered.
Puck sniffed, "I love you too," He barely whispered. He swallowed hard before continuing, "And I thought I said it was Noah to you."
Sam chuckled, "Sorry." He pulled Puck into a hug, "I pity anyone who isn't you tonight."
