LOVE NOTE
Castiel Novak rushed out of the class to Dean's locker to slip the love letter that he'd written into his locker right before"lunch. Hopefully Dean would think lightheartedly about it, he had seemed so distracted lately..
"Dude check this out." Dean was showing Sam a piece of paper he found In his locker. It first sight it looked like crumbled notebook paper, in fact: that's what it was. "Signed 'Cas N.' that must be that cute head cheeleader Cassie Norman. I heard she's really undateable, she rejects everyone. but hey! She's into me!"
Sam rolled his eyes "Dean. What if it's not her?" He asked, crossing his arms. "Then you'd be making an idiot out of yourself." He paused "no, never mind, I want you to go make an idiot of yourself. Go ask her, she just walked into the cafeteria."
"It's signed Cas" dean emphasized. "You know what, I will!" Dean followed her in, noticing she say down and walking towards her
"Go ahead." Sam laughed. When Dean got up, he looked over to the shy kid who sat at the window sill by himself, Castiel Novak. Wait. Cas Novak. Cas N. He smirked and looked over at Dean. This is gonna be priceless.
"Hey sweetie." Dean said taking a seat next to Cassie.
Cassie looked up at Dean coldly. "What do want, Winchester?"
"Just thought I should give you an answer in person." He smiled.
"An answer to what, douchebag?" She snapped, crossing her eyes. Most of the cafeteria watching now.
"Your note." Why was this chick playing hard to get, SHE'D come on to him. "This one right here." He handed it to her.
Cassie snorted "I didn't write this poetic crap. 'Your eyes are a meadow in which I get lost in every time your eye happens to catch mine'? This is...cheesy. Like I'd ever write about watching the sunset with you." She shoved the note back at Dean.
Suddenly the quiet kid on the windowsill grabbed Deans arm "I need to speak with you." He said urgently in a hushed tone.
"Who are you?" He asked this kid. Chase? No ...Chris? No wait, he had more of an usual name...
Castiel pulled Dean aside and pulled him all the way out to the hallway. "Dean, there's something you should really know."
"Tell me who you are first.." If this kid was gonna be weird he should at least know who he was. "Why are we outside?"
"My name is Castiel Novak - my friends call me Cas." He sighed "you weren't...you weren't supposed to guess it was Cassie. I didn't even expect anything to happen with the note. You were supposed to laugh at it, maybe feel a little better about yourself when you saw them. You weren't supposed to try to come find her-me. I suppose it was a stupid thing to do..." He sighed, blushing now.
Dean pulled him into an even more secluded corner. "How'd you know?!" He hadn't even told Sam...not that Sam would care but…
"How did I know what?" He asked, frowning.
"That I was bi, of course!" Dean whisper-yelled. "Have you been stalking me?!"
"I didn't know you were bi, I thought you were straight." He said back calmly. "I never expected anything out of that letter. I sent it because you looked sad one day and I wanted to cheer you up...and because I've been infatuated with you for almost a year and a half now. I'm finding out just now that you're bi."
"You have? Why didn't you ever talk to me then?"
"Because I thought you were straight. And I'm not very brave like that. I was just nervous." Dean was flattered. He may not have been the hottest girl in school, but he was pretty cute. Castiel sighed "um, I'm gonna go back to lunch. I was in the middle of a book and a really good apple." He mumbled.
"Wait, um...did you want to maybe go out sometime?"
Castiel frowned in confusion "you want to go out? With me?"
"...yeah.." Maybe this whole thing was an elaborate joke after all. Twice in one day.. Great.
"I...wasn't expecting that." He smiled shyly and kissed Deans cheek quickly "I'd love to."
"Great." He held Cas's hand and they walked back into the cafeteria together
