Blaise Zabini smiled widely as he woke up in the morning next to his beautiful wife of five years.
He remembered the day he asked her out for the first time. He was a nervous wreck. He stuttered and stumbled on his words and she had to shut him up the only way she knew how; with a kiss.
Wow what a kiss it was. Her lips were as soft as he thought and she tasted better than he had ever imagined. It was the best kiss of his life and the longer they kissed the more they forgot it's initial purpose, though it was very effective.
And although her twin brother Draco and her cousin Theo, who also happened to be his best mates, almost killed him, it was completely worth it.
He was brought out of his thoughts as he felt Hermione stir and snuggle closer to him as he instinctively tightened his hold on her.
He kissed her head and she looked up at him with those big, warm hazel eyes that always got him to do anything she wanted.
"Good morning darling," she murmured and kissed him sweetly.
"Good morning love. Happy anniversary." he whispered.
"Oh honey! You remembered!" she exclaimed throwing her arms around his neck.
"Love, I've remembered every year for the past five years." he laughed. "And every year you react the same way."
"Well, Draco and Theo never remember and the lot of you are best mates so Pans, Tori and I always bet on which of you will remember this time." she giggled.
"Well I for one am absolutely hurt that you have such little faith in your husband. I trust you unconditionally and yet this is how I am repaid?" Blaise cried in mock indignation.
Hermione opened her mouth to reply but didn't get the chance because the sound of little feet running, laughter and "Daddy! Mummy! Wake up!" interrupted her as their three children Remy, Leo and Cissy came running into their room and climbed onto their bed joyfully.
"HAPPY ANNY BER SERY MUMMY AND DADDY!!!!" they chorused together.
"Aww thank you sweethearts. Mummy and Daddy love you so much." Hermione cooed.
"Happy Anniversary love," Blaise said.
"Happy Anniversary darling." Hermione replied kissing him soundly.
