Fear my random drabble! I wrote this to pass the time and to procrastinate even more on my homework so enjoy!
She waited for him. Seconds passed, then minutes, then days, then years. But she continued waiting. Everyone around her changed, moving on.
Except her.
She watched Ino's release from him as she fell for another. She watched Naruto's physical wounds recover and his mental wounds healed by another. She watched as Kakashi's painfromraising a traitorlessened with time. They all were able to move on.
So why wasn't she able to?
Where was her cure?
Why was her heart still bleeding now?
Because it was all his fault. He had let everyone's hearts go and heal but kept hers.
No…it wasn't his fault. It was her fault…for being weak. Even now, she was still weak. Even with all the strenuous training and life threatening missions she had gone on, she hadn't gotten anywhere.
Because he was still her weakness.
But she continues to wait for him.
Why?
Because he— he is also her cure.
