It's been quite some time, but here's a passerby.

"Where do we put her, can't we just leave her on a doorstep or something?"

Mugen stared down at Fuu's naked form still in his arms with a slight scowl.

"She's a grown woman, not an orphan. We'll place her in a nearby inn." Jin answered as he docked the little boat, tying the rope to the small wooden post. His eyes widened a fraction as he threw back a glance to Fuu's still unconscious form, before angrily calling to Mugen.

"Have you no decency? Give her your coat."

Mugen stepped forward carefully after Jin as he stepped onto the dock, holding out his arms to take hold of Fuu. Eager to take a break from carrying her around, Mugen hands her over into his awaiting arms.

"No way, this coat alone cost me nine hundred gold pieces, and seventy silver pieces to boot." He snaps, stepping onto the dock with a slight sneer aimed at Jin.

"Give her your tunic then. After all, we owe her some respect." Both men began walking towards the main road headed for the town up ahead. The path was lit by the faint blue light from the full moon up high. Darkened trees moved faintly in the cool breeze of the night, captivating them both with comfortable silence.

"A room, please."

The innkeeper gave a rather suspecting look over the trio; more so, the half dressed Fuu in Jin's arms. The silence that stood was broken softly by the innkeepers inquire.

"There's a Red inn not too far-" her finger pointed timidly to show which way, "We're not here for that, just give us a damn room!"

The innkeeper flinched as Mugen angrily slammed down his fist on the wooden desk.

"Pardon my friend, he's spent all night looking after his drunk sister here. We would like a room for her to recover in." Jin explained kindly shifting on his feet.

Understanding swept across the innkeeper's face as she nodded vigorously, "O-of course! Ninety gold pieces for the night."

Mugen quickly shot Jin a haunted glance, silence ensuing between them for a moment.

"I mean we owe her that much, and I've already given her the shirt off of my back." Mugen sighed stepping back from the desk folding his arms behind his head.

"Very well, she'll be here for two nights. Mugen, I'll reimburse you double if you cover this for now." Jin turned to him speaking sternly as he shifted on his feet, catching his suggestive glance.

"Fine." He muttered an inaudible insult retrieving his bag of coins, soon after stepping up to the counter pouring out half of the bag onto the counter.

"Two hundred and seventy gold pieces." The innkeeper glanced down at the gold coins, only turning to give him a confused glance.

"So, three nights?" Mugen gave a curt nod, turning on his heel following after Jin who had already reached the top of the stairs.
