My Dear, Kagome...

Summery: Miroku writes a letter to Kagome about his feelings for her

Disclamor: Much to my sadness, I do not own Inuyasha...only in my dreams...T.T

Dear Kagome,

I don't know how to tell you this. I thought about how I was going to tell you for so long, and all I could come up with is this letter to you. But before I say anything Kagome, I hope to Buda Inuyasha does not see this...or Ill be dead before you get this...so...

Kagome...I love you...I've loved you from the very moment you asked me to join you and Inuyasha on your travels to find the sacred jewel shards. I love to watch you sleep at night, to see your pretty face lightened up by the fire, your eyes glisten as your watch the stars, and the way you act so motherly to Shippo. I think you will make the best mother when you have children. I know none of those children will be mine though...they'll be Inubabies. Little Inuyasha's running around everywhere...wow, they'd get into a lot of trouble...(chuckle). I don't want you to be scared of me now that you know how I feel about you. I know you like Inuyasha, and I know none of your love can be directed towards me, only as a friend. Which I hope we still are? I know you could never love me more then a friend. Even if you diside to still be with Inuyasha, I will understand. Though im not going to promise that I wont be sad for a while, and I can't promise I won't stop loving you, because that is impossible. Kagome I wish I could show you how I truely feel about you, but I may never have the chance, though I can show you a few little things to show my afection. Now you know why I wanted this paper and pencil...

Love you always,

Miroku

Kagome finished reading the letter, and tears fell down her cheeks. Miroku had disappeared just last night. Kagome remember what had gone on last night.

Flashback

Miroku walked up to Kagome, making her look up. "Kagome, may I have a peice of that paper and a pencil, please?" He asked. Kagome looked at him surprised and handed him a pencil and paper. "Sure Miroku, but what are you going to use it for." She asked. "Oh, to write things down..." Miroku said. Kagome smiled, and continued to work on her math work. Miroku walked away, and started to think about what he was going to write. Kagome had passed him a few times, and he was still sitting in that same spot, with a blank peice of paper and pencil in hand. Finally, when everyone was getting into bed, Kagome saw Miroku start to write. When he saw her watching him intently, she could have sworn he blushed as he put the paper behind his back.

"Oh Miroku...come back, I love you too..." Kagome whispered into the wind, as one last tear slid down her face, and dripped off her chin.
