Jj's POV
We were all sat in the office, awaiting the new arrival. We're getting a new team member so everyone is anxious, except Reid, he's reading as usual. When the new arrival arrives, I'm shocked. It's my old best friend, Melissa. Me, Spencer, Derek and Melissa all went to school together. Melissa gives us the shush sign and sneaks up behind Reid. "HEY SPENCEY-WENCEY!" she shouts at Reid. He jumped a mile. Me, Melissa and Morgan were doubled over laughing. Reid went red. "M-Mel? Wh-what are you d-doing here?" he asks. He always had a crush on Mel. "I'm your new team member, Spencey-Wencey. You're stuck with me!" She says and comes over to me. "JJ!" She squeals. "MEL!" I squeal back. "Are you really our new team member?" Derek asks. "Damn right baby!" She says. "Okay, the case?" Hotch says.
Melissa's POV
I take a seat next to Spencer while Hotch explains that 3 girls were raped and murdered in Columbus, Ohio. Great! First day on the job and I've got to go away to Ohio. At least I'm with Spencer. Okay, he's so sweet and caring, and I'm totally crushing on him. Oh my god! One of the victims is my old friend, Adrianne Peaches. I grabbed Reid's hand and he looks at me. He gives me a what-the-hell? Look. I give him a we'll-talk-later look. Hotch names the victims and I was right, it was Adrianne. After the debriefing, I start heading home but Reid catches up with me. "Hey, why did you grab my hand earlier?" he asks. "I knew one of the victims. Not personally, but we were introduced." I say, "Plus I have a crush on you." I mumble. "Huh?" he asks. "I have a crush on you!" I say and speed off. He catches up with ease. "Really?" he asks. "Yeah." I say. "I have a crush on you too! Oh, and by the way, Hotch says that we need to act like a couple in Ohio because the un-sub goes for loved up girls." He says with a wink. "Why act like a couple? Why not be a couple?" I ask. "Okay. Are we going to yours?" he asks. "I am. You can go home and pack" I say. "No need. I've got a bag already made up" He says with a smile. "Okay. We heading off tomorrow?" I ask. "Yeah" he replies. "Well, I'll pack my stuff and then we'll go to yours?" I ask. "Sure. You can stay at mine if you want." He asks. "I will!" I say. When we get to my apartment and I've packed, I walk up to Spencer and stand on my tip-toes. When I feel his breath on my lips, my body feels like a can of soda that's been shaken. He kisses me and I melt into the kiss. Next thing I know, we're on the couch, making out!
