Ideas for a movie based off of "The Snow Queen" by Disney existed long before Frozen. However, they all lacked that certain touch, and the idea became nothing more but a memory to the characters of Disney.

Then, of course, Frozen went into production. And the movie was released, and Arendelle entered the World of Disney like all other movies did.

However, the characters were not expecting the version of the story they received. Especially the villains.

The villains had sat, many of them excitedly, in a little meeting in Hades's Underworld. Of course, none of the characters had seen a movie, but from how Disney stories went, it was highly presumable that this snow queen, Elsa, would still be the villain. The idea of ice magic and frozen wastelands had quite captured the imagination of many of the villains.

Hans was not a Snow Queen.

"What do you mean you're our new villain!?" Cruella snapped, her coat flying back behind her. Hans could practically taste the scent of cigarettes flying off the woman's mouth.

Jafar pulled a bit at the coat of Hans's suit. "No magic, and little power. Tch," The tall man frowned, looming over the red head. "What are we supposed to do with you?"

Poor Hans hadn't been quite prepared. Most of the other male villains were taller or older than him, or both. And it seemed the crowd had been expecting... someone else. With magic. Wait... "Who were you all expecting?" Hans asked, confused. He was the villain, and a prince. There had better be a pretty good reason he did not suit the group.

"The Snow Queen," Maleficent said, her tone remaining poised and calm as she scanned over the boy, looking for any advantages he added. "After all, you must be very far off from the tale known so far if you're here instead of her"

"...Elsa? Am I hearing you right, you expected Elsa?" Hans sounded astounded. "She was the villain, in her own mind for quite awhile, yeah. But have you seen her? Her and her sister are practically polar opposites of cruelty!"

Hades frowned. "Wait a minute here. You're telling me Icey isn't evil in the slightest? We don't get a pinch of that magic?" Hans was somewhat startled to see the deity start to literally turn red.

"Silence!" Maleficent banged her staff against the floor, causing the room to fall quiet very quickly. Hans assumed he could pick her out as the ringleader. "Now, we'll have to make do with what we have been given... Even if it will not be as beneficial as ice magic," The fairy smirked ever so slightly, her gaze keeping on Hans as she approached him. "So, do share with us- what exactly did you do that landed you here?"

"Well," Hans began, taking a breath. "I attempted to marry into the throne, slice the queen's head off, broke the princess's heart and nearly let her freeze to death from a frozen heart into an ice statue, attempted to let the princess die in the mountains, and let the queen believe it was her fault her sister was dead."

The villains were silent for a moment.

"Perhaps we can make this arrangement work after all," Jafar smirked, twirling his beard around his finger.
