The stars were shining brightly and the moon was high on the sky.
A blonde beauty came running in the forest, no idea of where he was going.
He came up to a house, and found there was a light lit in the windows. There was shelter for a night. The doors opened suddenly and frightened the blond.
He hesitated to go in, but when he heard yells and dogs barking, he ran in, along a long corridor, to another set of doors opened.
Well inside he backed into the room and watched as the doors slammed shut again.
When he turned around he saw a man with a high hat (I dunno what their called) and a circus alike costume with a mask.
"A joker…" he whispered to himself.
"Shall we start" he said, and took the hat he had held against his chest in a bowing manner, up to his head.
He said, "Should we play a game of cards?" and pulled out a bunch of cards, he nodded, not thinking that this could do any harm.
He went up to him, touched his chin, and he said "there is no time to spare." He led him to the table in the middle of the room and picked out the cards. He blended them, and asked the blond,
"Do you understand the rules", the beauty nodded, looked at the cards again, and picked the card in the middle. The card floated in mid air, as the joker smirked and put his head in his palm.
The blond quickly stood up and the cards followed him, swirling around him.
Suddenly, the cards flew towards the hand of the joker, he catched them and closed his hand around them.
When he opened it again the cards were gone.
The Joker said, "I've already lost too many cards…" and looked at the beauty.
"Joker…" he said… and clutched his chest in pain. The Joker just leaned more into his palm. He stood up, and he blonde said,
"Joker…" and fell onto his knees.
"joker…" one last time before collapsing beside the man.
The joker looked at him, collected his heart. He opened his eyes again, and the Joker took him out the window for a little flight.
The joker card left on the cold floor, the image presenting the Joker holding a heart.
"Let me introduce you to the world…" the Joker said. When the blonde didn't reply, the Joker looked at the beauty in pity.
They landed on the roof of what was supposedly the blonde beauty's house.
He sat him down on a couch.
The Joker gave him back the heart, but he didn't do anything.
The Joker clenched his fist, and un-clenched it, making the cards in his sleeve fall out.
The Joker then took out a long knife, preparing to stab the blond. His hand twitched and his eyes flickered when he raised it.
Just when he was 2 inches from the blond's chest, the beauty said,
"Joker…" in his dazed state. The Joker fell to his knees, and his mask fell. He reached up to touch the blonde's chin and his eyes fluttered open.
The Joker fell one lone tear, as it ran along his cheek.
