Short Story 1: Before the fight (Undertale)

"You can't beat them ssaanss," a small cold whispered to my ear. "Watch me," I mumble," If I can't, who will?" With that, my breath had started to get heavier and my eye glowing violently than before. I really can't beat someone who can just zip back in time. I take a deep breath and closed my eyes and feel the despair of my inevitable death- "I have to try," I said, "I have to try… I have to try for him, Papy." "You.. can't sansss," the wind knocks me back as if I'm being pulled by my own shadow. That voice, who is it? It could just be me. I slowly try to get up, but I can't; my legs won't stop shaking. I clenched my fist and pound my leg, "GET UP!" I yelled. Then, it hit me, "I'm... afraid?" For a moment, I felt the cold shoulder of death, their coming I have to get up now. I shiver, desperately trying to get up with every bone in my body- every will in my body. "It's fine, It's fine, It's fine," I repeatedly whispered to myself and looked up, "Bro bro, if you were here you would do the same- not only for me but, for them too right?" I paused and realized what I had just said. I felt a tear jerked in my eye, I'm sorry Papyrus, I can't save someone as heartless as them. I urged myself to get up with my blue attack, they're coming.
