Minerva McGonagall was getting old. She had done lots in her days and she was proud of herself. One morning she walked over to the window as an owl came with a letter. She took it and was bewildered at who it came from. James Potter? What did he want to tell her? She opened the envelope and two pieces of paper fell out. She picked up the smaller one, which happened to be the note he sent.
Dear Minny,
Dad told me about Sirius's love letters to you and your nickname. He should've told me it while I was still in school. On second thought that's probably why he didn't tell me while I was in school; I would've done it. I included something that you taught my muggle studies class when you were substituting. I sent it because I got a white tabby cat and named it after you, Minny. Of course you're not a white tabby but whatever. Anyway boring stuff... blah blah blah. Alice and the kids are great. Blah blah blah. (you're probably thinking that I haven't changed one bit! I haven't.) Anyway that's all. Also mum, dad and everyone else says hi!

Minerva sat at her desk and opened the piece of paper attached to the letter and began to read. She gasped once she saw what it was and it amazed her that her old student would remember it.
I was walking along
That's where it all began.
The tabby cat stood there
Why was it so shy?
I wanted to pet it
To feel it's soft white fur
I felt someone sneaking behind me
So I did what I could
I pulled my wand out
And the cat did too
The cat was not all that it seemed
Wizard he was
We put two jinxes on the guy
And went to become famous
Because this person wasn't normal
Not just mean
He killed and cursed people
For he wanted to become king
So we beat him
On that faithful day
And we stand up proud and tall
For the white tabby cat and I
We make quite an excellent team
