DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER
Charlotte P.O.V.
The dragon still followed relentlessly behind. I couldn't help but feel that urge to just stop and give in and let myself get roasted alive. The pain would probably be less than my dying legs running for what feels like days straight. I resisted the temptation to turn and see how close behind the dragon was behind us. I don't know if I could stand to meet eyes with him again in this weakened state I am currently in. I couldn't even bring myself to look around me to see if my companions were still struggling along with me. I wanted to believe that I could hear other footfalls beside me. But in this strange place you can never be too sure.
I took about two more steps before I felt myself falling to the ground and the world went black.
I am sure by now you are really confused. My name is Charlotte, call me that and I just might kill you. Call me Charlie. I am a witch. I used to go to a magic school back in Idaho called the Spidercall Academy. That place is, well, you wouldn't believe me if I told you.
It would probably be best to start at the beginning to avoid further confusion on you part. So a few months ago…
I stared up In disbelief at the architectural wonder in front of me. The impossibility of this building was spectacular. Just a couple of days ago I had received a letter telling me that I was a witch, my mom assured me it was just a practical joke. Later that day however my father had taken me down the den and proved to me that that was far from true. So I guess technically I am a half-blood. My mom thinks I am at some fancy boarding school. Yeah, you could say that.
The school was still a few miles up the river but it was so huge you could easily see it in great detail from here. I looked down to the water far below me. I could not believe this was happening to me. I had always secretly wished for magic in my life and it was finally coming true.
The ship ripped mercilessly through the waves. I turned my attention to the building again. Fantasizing all the adventures I would have with magic.
"Hello," said a small voice behind me. I turned to see a cute young girl with small features and jet black hair.
"Hi," I replied a little skeptically.
"I'm Penelope," she piped in a shrill voice while holding out her hand.
"Charlie," I said shaking her outstretched hand.
She joined me on leaning on the port side of the ship. And watching the water below us.
By the time we arrived at the Spidercall Academy we were already like best friends as we strode through the huge double doors. I gasped as I intake the place around me.
