"Don't be sad" she said "time moves quickly".
"I hope so" he said.
"It does, by the time you'll miss me too terribly we'll be whispering

"Was I right?" She asked months later.
"No." he said hugging her tighter.
Laughing she said "I think you're just saying that right?"
Looking at her he said "Maybe, but I did miss you."
"I know" she said "but not too terribly?"
"No" he said smiling now.
"Good" she said "and besides" she added "I'm always right."
"Of course" he said grinning "and there's something I forgot
to say."
"What?" She asked.
He smiled at her, pulled her close, and whispered in her ear,
"Hello."
