It's four-fifty in the morning, and I am wide awake. I can't stop thinking about what happened tonight, or last night if you want to be technical about it. I can't believe what I learned about my best friend, or who I thought was my best friend, but now, I'm not so sure. It's hard to believe that today, I will be going to school, alone without anyone there for me.
Around eight o'clock that night I arrived at the party. There wasn't much going on, so I went to the kitchen and grabbed a Coke. I was looking for Meagan, who said she would meet me at the park before we went to the party, at 6:30, but she never showed. Eventually I gave up and went to the party. I walked around but didn't see her. Then I heard her laugh. I turned around, and saw that her back was to me.

"Oh my gosh, your friend Candiace is such a loser, where is she anyways?" a jock asked.
"Oh, I ditched her. I told her to meet me at the park, so she wouldn't go to the party, which reminds me, I should probaly call her and tell her I'm sick. I'll be right back" Meagan replied, as she started to turn around. I opened the door behind me, before Meagan could see me and turned off my phone. I stayed in there for about ten minutes, then opened the door, and snuck outside. I was crying the whole way home.
