Astrid and Leroy

I've only seen up to the end of season 3, so this is probably AU. Set shortly after the defeat of Zelena. My hopes for these two to be together, and Mulan is in the story as well to offer some perspective.

Note: This is AU. I've only seen until the end of season 3, my hope that Leroy and Astrid, AKA Grumpy and Nova will be together. Also features Mulan, you'll see why soon.

Mulan was wandering around Storybrooke one night. She had only recently been turned back from a flying monkey, but at least she was human again. Mulan was having trouble adjusting to this new world. She felt alone, but than she had always felt somewhat lonely. Then Mulan saw something odd. Leroy, also known as Grumpy, one of the seven dwarfs. Leroy was looking around, making sure he wasn't being followed. Mulan wondered, what could he be hiding from? She covertly followed him to a small apartment. Leroy quietly opened the window. Mulan believed he was planning to rob this place while the owners slept. She crept up behind Leroy and held him down. As Mulan began interrogating him a woman came, asked her to let him go. Mulan recognized this woman. She was sister Astrid, in the Enchanted Forrest she was the fairy known as Nova. Astrid asked Mulan to let him go, and brought them both inside so noone else could hear their conversation.

Mulan: I don't understand. If you were just meeting your lover, why sneak around?

Astrid: In this world, I'm suppossed to be a nun. In the old world, I was a fairy. Neither are suppossed to fall in love.

Leroy: Not dwarfs either so, I was a coward. Anyway you weren't here for David's big speech, right after we all got our memories back. He said we can do what we want. We can be our old selves, our new selves, or whatever middle we wanted.

Astrid: We decided that we couldn't be together in the Enchanted Forrest, we couldn't be together with me as a nun. But maybe, just maybe, now we could. We just had to be discreet.

Leroy: If you could keep this under your hat, we'd appreciate it.

Mulan: Very well. I too know what it's like to love someone who was forbidden. I love Aurora, sleeping beauty. In my world such things are punishable by death.

Astrid: Things are better in this world. Acceptance of homosexuality has greatly increased, just during the first curse.

Mulan: Is that what it's called here? That would be nice, to find a woman who is willing to love me. I will not betray your confidence if you will not betray mine.

Leroy: Agreed. Good luck finding a girlfriend.

Mulan: Thank you. Good luck with your secret affair.
