Travis had experienced a lot of things, being a demigod it wasn't optional.
He had fought many monsters, and he had been in pain, many, many times.
Seeing Katie cry, wasn't one of them.
"What's wrong Katie-kat?" he said, hoping she would snap at him and they would go back to playfully teasing.
It didn't work.
"Ale-x bro-k up with m-e" Katie said stuttering and sobbing into her hands.
A flare of anger swelled up in him and his curious face turned furious, but seeing her crying her heart out it changed into a worried expression.
"It's okay, he is an idiot for breaking up with a girl like you" he said soothingly rubbing circles into her back.
She looked up with a watery smile.
"Yo-u thin-k so-o."
"I know so."
"Thanks Travis, you are really nice when you are not shooting water balloons at people ."
He let out a small laugh.
"Oh and Katie?"
"Yes?"
"What cabin is he in again?"
"He's in the Nemesis cabin the only one there so far, why?"
"No reason."
The next few weeks, every night Iris's cabin was pranked mercilessly and somehow they knew Alex was scared of snakes.
