I WILL ALWAYS WAIT FOR YOU!
Kagome sat next to the sacred tree looking at the clouds wondering why she had been so stupid to let InuYasha steal her heart. She should have known he was going to break her heart. "Sigh, I should have stayed in the present time and never had stayed here with the moron! GRRRR" she was mad now. How could he just expect her to be ok with him leaving her for Kikyo. She leaned against the tree and closed her eyes. She was too tired to even waste her time thinking about Kikyo and InuYasha.
When she woke up that Morning, it was pouring, she wasn't wet though. She was covered by a kimono. It wasn't InuYasha or even one of her friends. It was a weird kimono. It was like the one Sesshomaru wore. "Sesshomaru would never try to help me or even comfort me for that matter." She said dryly. She stood up and laid the kimono over her shoulders and walked towards the hut where her friends were probably worried sick about her.
When she stepped into the hut everyone jumped up a throw question after question at her. "Where were you" Sango asked, her voice layered with relief. "Are you alright" asked Miroku. "We missed you, Kagome" said Shippo. Kagome smiled she loved her friends. "I'm fine, I was at the Sacred Tree thinking." She said glad that people cared what she did. "Guys, do you know who this kimono belongs to" Kagome asked loosing her smile. "It belongs to Sesshomaru, he came by looking for you yesterday." Shippo said while sucking on a lollipop that Kagome had given him. "WHAT! Why would Sesshomaru give me his kimono. He doesn't even like me." Kagome said with complete shock. "We don't know…but maybe you should go returning to him." Sango said with a lazy smile. With that Kagome ran to give Sesshomaru his kimono.
When Kagome reached Sesshomaru's house she knocked on the huge iron door. When no one answered she knocked a little harder. This time she cit her knuckles on the door and blood ran down her fingers. Smelling her blood Sesshomaru answered the door holding a bandage. "May I help you" he asked with no emotions. Typical Sesshomaru, Kagome said to her self. "Well Shippo said that you came looking for me yesterday and gave me your kimono" she said removing the kimono from her shoulders. "So" Sesshomaru asked. "So" she said returning his attitude. "I thought I be nice and sweet ad return your kimono, but if your going to be mean. I should have left it in the mud." She chucked his kimono at his face and turned to walk away. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her back. " I did come looking for you yesterday. I saw what my moron of a brother did to you. I'm…..Sorry." he said and he looked away from her and let go of her wrist. She turned and looked at him and tried to stop the tears from coming. She was not success full though. She started bowling, she spent the whole walk her trying to not think of that event with InuYasha. All of a sudden she felt Sesshomaru wrap his arms around her and her crying slowly stopped. She looked up and the handsome dog demon that was comforting her. "What are you doing Sesshomaru. I've never seen this side of you." Kagome asked with wide eyes. "I'm comforting the thing I care about most." he said placing his head on top of hers. "You care bout me, but I thought u hated all mortals." She said shocked. "I did hate all mortals but after I saw you with InuYasha I thought maybe all mortals aren't stupid. That's why I let Rin stay with me, because she reminds me of you." He said letting the words flow out of him. Kagome smiled and looked at him. Then before she could say anything else he leaned in and kissed her.
