Harry Potter was walking down the hallway to his potions class room when he heard the quiet sound of snickering behind him. He quickly turned around and when he saw it was none other than Draco Malfoy he narrowed his eyes.
"What's so funny Malfoy?!" he bit out through clenched teeth. He needed to keep up the 'I hate Draco Malfoy' act because no one could find out how he really felt about him.
"None of your business Potter!" he bit back and Harry was careful not to show how much it hurt.
"Whatever..." Harry muttered and just turned around and continued heading to potions.
When he got there, he was late and apparently so was Malfoy because he entered at the same time as him.
Immediately, his nostrils were filled with a smell that could only be purely Draco but in an attempt to keep up the act he grounded out,
"Why does this place reek of Malfoy?!" at the same time Draco said,
"Why does this place reek of Potter?!"
Everyone just stared at them and finally it was Hermione who spoke up.
"Umm...Harry...Draco, we are brewing Amortientia, a potion that makes you smell something that reminds you of... the person you love the most..."
They just stared at her, gobsmacked, and then quickly went into their own seats. Snape didn't even bother to deduct house points, for even he slightly pitted the two boys.
The rest of the class felt as if it would never end while everyone was constantly staring at them.
Harry quickly left when it was over and slid into a near by broom cupboard with the door slightly cracked open and watched for Draco to come by. When he did, he grabbed him by his wrist and pulled him into the cupboard.
"What the-" Draco started to call, but then saw Harry and sighed.
Draco was never one for patience so he decided to get straight to the point and he let his carefully held up mask fall. "Fine it's true. I am in love with you."
"I love you too Draco." Harry quickly replied and then Harry took all the pent up emotion he had over the past eight years and crashed his lips to Draco's. They moaned into the kiss and stayed like that for who knows how long, and they didn't care.
