A/N: Alright, new story, this is the one that won the voting for it so I hope you all enjoy it, since it's different from a lot of other stories (atleast I think so with the powers) so I hope it's a decent read for all of you.

Chapter 1: The Game Master is here

A girl about the age of 15 was playing an RPG game on her computer, it was around… three in the morning, normal time to be getting off, but she was in a boss battle and needed to finish it.
There were dark spots under her eyes to show her lack of sleep over the past… seven months? it was around 4 hours a sleep a day so she was functioning fine since she could get through school for three days straight without sleep at all, it was tiring as hell but she managed just so she could win a bet.
That was the best sleep of her whole life after that, but anyways, she was just about to beat the boss before a move came up called 'Oblivion' which one shot her, she leans into her chair while sighing.
"Damn it! he had 2% of his HP left too! just my luck…" she looks at her screen before getting a notification about something, it was an Email, "what's this?"

She looks at the Email for a few seconds before going to the cross at the top right of her screen, thinking it was a scam, she stops a moment before thinking on it.
'Okay, let's assume this is real, what kind of game would it be? with the Name 'Reality/core' I'd guess it's some kind of virtual reality game, maybe like VRchat or that one VRMMO that's out but looks terrible… eh, I got like seven different anti-virus programs, so if it does something I can fix it.'
She moves her mouse down and click the link on the Email before her world goes dark.

In a black void a being was floating, it didn't have any defined features, it was waiting for someone to accept the mass Email it had sent out, about all but one read and ignored it, so it was hoping the last one will accept it.
…
*POP*
The being looks at a girl who appeared in the void, she had blonde messy hair that is done up in a ponytail, with her bangs split down the middle and go off to the sides messily, she has blue eyes, and was wearing blue short shorts and a grey tank top.
The first thing she said was, "WHAT THE FUCK?!" she looked around in shock and confusion and slight fear before her eyes land on the glowing being that seemed to float.
"A-ah… hi…?" she shakily waves at the being while thinking, 'oh shit, did I get killed? or maybe this is like one of those Fanfictions where I'm gonna get some superpower and get sent to another world… the chances of that happening are next to no-'
"Hello child, and yes, this is like one of your Fanfictions." she looks at the being for a moment before speaking.
"Holy shit, really?" the being nods, "Yes, but you won't be sent to another world, I will give you any one power or a group of powers that relate to one thing as long as you describe that thing." she looks in shock for a moment before thinking about what to describe.
'Video Game powers? no, that's too over done in Fanfiction, if my life ever goes on the site I want it to be more unique then all those that constantly make Gamer Fanfiction… but I love video games so much I don't know what to say to make it different, wait… I got just the thing…'
"I want the power a Game master has over the world the players are in, I want to be able to control the event, Possibilities, skill and power of all things within this world…" she smirks at the being.
"I want to be my world's own Game Master." the being stayed silent for a moment before a smile seems to form, "you do know what you are asking for, right? you are asking to be a god of your world." the girl looks at him with a determined face.
"Oh yeah? then that means I write the rules of my world then?" the being looks at her before snapping it's fingers, a sudden influx of knowledge enters her mind, everything about how to make a world run, how to control people like they were NPCs, control events, possibilities, summon monsters and weapons from any Video Game, manipulate the skill of a person and even give, change and remove powers from both herself and others.
And that doesn't even include she now worked off Video Game physics, which meant she could do… a LOT.
She looked up at the being before smiling, her mind had automatically rearranged itself to have all the information she needed.
"Oh… I'm going to have so much fun…" she smirks at him while he seems to smirk back before the girl disappears.
"Summer Knight, what an odd name…"

The girl open her eyes back in her room and looked at her screen, it said, 'Congratz on accepting the Beta, you're skill is [GAME MASTER]'.
"Well then… why don't we start the game?" she looks at her screen before turning her computer off, she didn't feel tired because of the fact video game characters almost never need to sleep unless it was for a bonus, a bonus which she didn't need.
She thinks for a moment before putting on her black and red jacket, black stockings that reach her thighs and black and red sneakers, she put on two fingerless leather gloves before going out, she increases her own stealth skill while decreasing her parents detection skills, she have a few hours out before having to come back to continue her normal life, but for now, she wanted to enjoy her new power.
So what better way to do it? take a page out of Ally Law's book and sneak into a mall and play ring around the rosy with the guards before escaping and making them forget her face and clothes so she wouldn't be banned.
She managed to fly up to the roof and sneak in with a Lockpick which she created, she gets in and sneaks around for a few hours, taking in the view of a dark, empty mall, it was rather nice, endless possibilities for events to take place here.
"Oi, you there!" she turns to see a man in a neon green vest walking towards her, she smiles, "Oh hello~!" she waves slightly before running off, causing the man to yell at her and give chase.
Summer looks to see two man trying to cut her off, and if she stopped she would get caught anyway… so the only choice is to go through them!
She runs faster towards them and just as they're about to reach for her she moves her center of mass down and slide along the ground for a moment before pushing herself up to continue running, "What the?!" she laughs at them, "better luck next attempt boys!" she jumps onto a railing before jumping and reaching for an escalator, which she climbs up and runs up, the mall cops giving chase but weren't able to keep up.
She gets to the roof of the building and got to the edge, but she had a plan.
"You've got nowhere to go now girl, so stop running and let us take you in for questioning." she turns around to face them with a smile on her face, "who said I had nowhere to go?" she gives them a two finger salute before leaning back.
"NO!" as she goes off the edge and out of view of the two she teleports herself to the next building over and increase her hearing to see what they say while also erasing her appearance from their minds.
"Shit she jum-… where is she?" he asked her college who looked over the edge, "she's gone? well at least we remember her… face…?" she stands up and holds a hand to the side of her head, "I… I can't remember her face… or even her appearance, it seems to just a blob of black and red… let's check the camera's."
Summer's eyes widen slightly before she figures out how to distort the camera footage involving her.
'That's not going to evolve into a Creepy Pasta or anything, wonder how people will picture me since all trace of my appearance was erased… questions for maybe later if I do this more often.' she appears on the sidewalk and decides to head home, it was almost 7 AM and she needed to get up for school at that time.

She wore her school uniform as she walked to school, she subtly messed with her powers to see what she could do, and oh boy, the fact she can use Cheat Codes made this so much more fun, now all she needed to do was memorize a shit ton of cheat codes to make that ability useful.
She gets to school and start to go to classes like normal, atleast until first break, where her bullies would normally pick on her for lunch money or something stereotypical.
"Oi, Ball gobbler fuck-hole!" she sighs, at least they were creative with the insults, she looks at them, they were named John, Michal, and Daniel, they didn't look interesting but Summer remembers their faces.
"Hello John…" she says in a bored tone, which they must of mistaken for a scared one for some reason.
"You know the drill, give us your money." Summer looks at them before standing up, picking up her bag, and walking away, shocking and confusing them.
"Oi! get back here!" on reaches for her shoulder, but when he grabs it she grabs his hand and turns to look at him with a glare.
"John, I'll be honest with you, I hate you, no… I hated you." she release his hand and turns around, "I hated you for how you would treat me every day, how you would always beat me up if I didn't comply, well you know what, I don't care anymore, you can punch, kick, beat, even stab me, I don't care, and you want to know why?"
He looks at her before smirking, "and why is that?" his tone was the perfect embodiment of snarky.
"Because, I used to hate you, but now, I only feel pity for you…" he goes to punch her in the face, which she ducks under and steps back, shocking those looking, he takes a couple more swings and she dodged all of them.
"I feel like there is a joke to be made here, but I don't think the idea of the joke exist yet." she mutters to herself, unknowingly referencing to Ultra Instinct from Dragon Ball Super.
She sighs to herself before raising a hand to catch his fist, shocking everyone, even him, as she barely moved an inch from catching it.
"When I said you can punch, kick, beat or stab me, I said that because of one thing…" she pulls him forward and punch him in the stomach, "You." she knees him in the gut, "Can't." she spins around and elbow him in the back, sending him to the ground, "Hit me."
She looks at him, "I meant what I said, all I feel for you is pity now." she turns to walk off towards her next clash while eating a sandwich which she stole off her victim, "thanks for the food, wanker." she says in a dull tone while people move out of her way.
She made sure not to hit the boy too hard so she didn't break anything, he'll just feel pain for the next couple of hours.
She gets to class while finishing her sandwich, she felt so proud of herself right now, finally standing up for herself, granted she needed to basically become a god to do so, but oh well.
She didn't really listen to the teacher, didn't need too, she played a few pranks on people by making them break their pencils, ripping their paper of so subtly, it was funny hearing their groans of frustration.
'Hmm… if I'm a Game Master, I'll need players to play my game… but who could fill that role?' she thinks to herself for a good while before deciding to do something odd, grab four random people from across the world (making sure they speak English), tell them about a power they have (which she'll give) and tell them to meet each other at a certain place in two weeks time (so she can hash out a story line).
The first person was a man with black hair and blue eyes named Aiden, who was gifted with the power of fire, and he was told how to create a flame in his hands at any moment.
Second up was a girl with blue hair and green eyes, her name is Katelyn, gifted with Water control.
The third one was a young boy with brown hair and brown eyes, named Orden, with the gift of Earth and controlling it.
And lastly, a young girl with green hair and green eyes, named Sera, had the gift of Wind.
She had given them each a crystal for their elements color, and told them through mental communication that those will allow them to identify each other.
'Alright, so the hook is in, now I need to make a main force for them to fight, it'll need to be a secret organization of sorts…' she thinks for a few minutes before she hears the bell go off, she goes off to the library to start writing up a story board for her four heroes to follow.
She made it a simple four arc story, heroes gain powers and meet up, then figure out their goal and how to do so while also getting their first encounter with the 'Ingrave' which was the secret organization that wants the world to end, then they investigate for a location before going in to ruin the Ingrave's plan and destroy their organization.
She would work characters and plot points later.
She sighs before she goes to her final class for the day, it was unremarkable, so she simply just worked on her story in her book.
After an hour or so the bell goes and she goes to the mall after changing into her outfit from this morning and looked at the people around her for someone interesting.
She see someone get stabbed so she decides to give chase after the person, being much faster she catches them and tackles them to the ground and puts them into a painful hold, "Ah shit! Lay off would ya?!"
Summer looks at the man she had restrained before smiling, she raised her fist and a black and red flame coated it, "Crater Punch." she simply says before punching the man in the left arm, destroying anything there, she stood up and walked away while erasing her appearance from the mind of anyone who saw that.
She uses some money to buy the game Xenoblade Chronicles, which she totally wasn't going to steal the Monado from the game once she completes it.
She sighs before going home and getting out of her jacket and sneakers, and booting up her PC.
She look at a few of her games before realizing that her power could affect them too.
'Time to start a new account and see how broken I can make my character within a day without people noticing that something is wrong… that Naruto Online game seems like it'll be a fun test ride, and I won't care if I get banned from it.'
Within the span of a night she managed to get to level 40, and get some pretty good units, but didn't really bother with it any more.
She lies on her bed and set it so she'll wake up at 2 in the morning so she can go to another place to mess with people.
Summer wakes up at 2 and goes to an office building and sneaks/breaks in.
She goes through the building and spots a few guards looking around, she knocks on a door and they turn towards her before realizing she was trespassing and chase after her.
The chase was similar to the Mall chase, but she got to and open window this time.
She turns halfway, and looks at them from the corner of her eye before leaning out the window one of the guards shot her shoulder, which she nullified the pain but teleported to a nearby roof and healed her arm.
She removes her appearance from the memories of those who saw her and distort camera footage.
She sighs as she wills her clothes to fix and clean themselves, and she does home for the night, she really needed a coffee…
