Full Summary: When the United Nations Of America formed after years of bloodshed and nuclear waste, they were approached by an alien civilization that began making a controversial offer to the UNA. After having a short (and bloody) discussion with itself for a year about the aliens, they decided to accept their offer to let them terraform America return the world to its former glory. However, the UNA had to hold up their end of the deal. They had to send their greatest warrior to an unknown planet to prove to the aliens that they are worthy for their support. They then send Courier Six, the man who played a major force in the formation of the UNA, to play an even bigger role for the world. Little did they all know that the world the Courier will be sent to will be a much different place than expected...

Chapter 1: A Strange New World

Main Quest: A New Chapter In This Wild Life

It's been only five years ago since the newly formed United Nations Of America was formed and Project Restoration was officially unveiled to the public. Various cities were restored and New Vegas was able to expand into Freeside and merge together. Hundreds of cities and towns were either built from the ground up or restored to look like the old cities of Pre-War America. Mr. House was able to expand his reach all across the Mojave Wasteland and thanks to the famous Nathan Riggs (AKA Courier Six), he was able to make amends with the NCR and start a civil war in Caesar's Legion, with the rebel tribes being personally supported by Nathan and Mr. House's securitrons. After discovering four other nations called Terminus, Oasis, No Man's Land, and Devil's Fork; Nathan was quick to explore and learn about each small nation. Mr. House sent Nathan off to a diplomatic mission to every single nation in West Coast America and make sure that they join the United Nations Of America. The NCR and Caesar's Legion joined the UNA with no questions asked thanks to their good relationship with New Vegas. Terminus and Oasis took some convincing, but they joined the UNA with minimal bloodshed. No Man's Land and Devil's Fork needed to submit to force before they joined.

When the UNA formed, they were approached by robots that claim to be from another world. Most people believed that these robots were just programmed by some prankster or an insane person, but when Mr. House told Nathan to retrieve one of the robots and send the remains to Big Mountain. After a few weeks, the technology and metal from the metal are extremely advanced and were not of Earth. The robots were soon invited into the Lucky 38 when the robots were requesting to enter New Vegas. The robots said that they were from an intergalactic empire called Azura and were sent to Earth for a diplomatic mission. However, the Azurans are not able to step foot onto Earth because of all the radiation and unknown bacteria. The Azuran robots even offered Mr. House to send one of his agents up to the moon where the Azura was stationed at.

Mr. House was curious about Azura and sent in Nathan to the alien base. After a week of traveling, Nathan was taken to their transport base where new robots could be sent from the moon and were amazed at the technology displayed at the station. Nathan was able to see the sickly brown Earth himself and looked towards the planet with sadness. He also saw another destroyed spaceship and another one that was intact. He was later told by an actual living being that those spaceships did not belong to them and that the one still intact had a few human survivors and a few green alien ones. Nathan soon remembers the alien blaster he had and remembers the green aliens he killed to get their weapons.

After staying on the space station and meeting the captain of Azura's operations, Nathan learned of technology that can completely terraform the world into a suitable planet for both the Azuran Colonist and the natives of Earth. Nathan returned with news of their terraformer and picture proof of their terraformer in action. One of the craters of the moon was filled to the brim with various plant life and alien creatures that came from the various planets in the Azuran Empire. Before the Nathan left, the Azurans requested him to bring a message only Mr. House is capable of reading and for Mr. House to give them his response. Nathan agreed to this and gave the message to Mr. House and after a few weeks, called in the first official meeting of the UNA Officials.

During the meeting, Mr. House revealed that the Azurans want to help Earth be restored to its former glory and for humanity on their world to thrive. The only thing the UNA needed to do was to let Azura's colonist live with them in peace and that they'll be given representatives in the UNA Council. Some decided to embrace the idea of having a restored and clean Earth, some of the representatives didn't want these aliens to betray them and eventually take over the UNA and Earth, and some wanted Azura gone immediately and wants to nuke their base. The UNA was split on the matter and what followed next was a short war only known as "The One-Year Discussion". There were only two sides to this conflict, a side that was Pro-Azura and another that was Anti-Azura. The conflict was eventually resolved with the Pro-Azura side winning and accepting the terms of the deal.

After it was revealed that Azura would also aid in Project Restoration, the UNA eventually thrived with the technology Azura provided. Hundreds of raider and bandit camps were soon eradicated, peaceful towns of Super Mutants and Ghouls were soon accepted into the UNA as official citizens (peacefully or otherwise), and life was improved across the UNA. Unfortunately, locals weren't excited when the Azuran Colonist who could survive on Earth's wastelands came to the UNA. New Vegas, but more specifically the former Freeside was reminded of the NCR Squatters and hostilities were very apparent. Even with the renovated cities and towns, there could only be so much room to go around before there would be a large homeless demographic. In big cities like New Vegas, the Azuran Colonist usually got special privileges when it came to housing and jobs because of the UNA's efforts to appeal to Azura. Out of all the homeless people in Freeside, there were no homeless Azuran Colonist and only 1% of the Azuran Colonist made up the entire homeless population in the entire UNA in every big city center. Former Anti-Azuran nations gave the Azuran Colonist the worse treatment, with Devil's Fork being the worse out of the eight nations that made up the UNA.

When Azura announced that they needed Nathan for an extremely time-consuming assignment, Mr. House was reluctant about sending in his best agent and right-hand man for an unspecified amount of time. Azura told Mr. House that they wanted to see if explorers like Nathan will react to going on an alien world. Mr. House objected to this multiple times when they kept asking, assuring him that they already have a base on the planet's moon and that time will be relatively the same on each planet. Mr. House soon caved in and told Nathan about the assignment. Nathan accepted the assignment and was given the full details of his assignment.

Nathan would need to go onto an alien planet for 5 Earth years and learn as much as possible about the planet in that timeframe. Since this planet isn't part of Azura, they won't punish the Nathan for any minor crimes and that if the planet has a justice system, they will be the ones to punish the Nathan how they see fit and won't come and save him from danger. They knew of Nathan's strong moral code and of his sense of justice don't expect him to do anything vile or evil. In fact, they expect him to become a hero during his time on the planet. They also told Nathan he was allowed to bring his weapons to this world and warned him that their technology is not on the level of Earth's and suggested that he bring a melee weapon with him. Azura also gives request Nathan bring them the armor and weapons he'll be using, along with all the technology he has so they can modify it to Azura's basic standards of Exploration Gear. Nathan complies and waits for a few months for his gear to be delivered to him.

After Azura was done modifying his gear he soon got it back and was surprised to see what they have done to his gear. His Elite Riot Gear armor set was given a more durable material and his visor had various modes that included infrared and night vision. They also weaved a specially modified version of ballistic weave in his duster and made it fireproof. His Pip-Boy was given a more sleek design and came with a special detachable screen that can act as a smaller Pip-Boy and could do things it couldn't as a Pip-Boy like a detonator that detonates that can detonate separate bundles of C-4 individually, a high-quality camera with infrared and night vision, and an improved map that's leagues better than the default map. Azura also gave him a unique stealth-boy device that can be used over and over again and lasts a lot longer than the average stealth-boy. It also gave him complete invisibility, so there weren't any shining effects on him. They also gave him a special backpack called The Void Pack and was an ordinary-looking backpack on the surface. Its special function allows Nathan to carry gear that's a lot bigger than the backpack but unfortunately couldn't fit his entire armory since the item's weight still applied, but Nathan was pretty strong himself and could carry 500 pounds of gear without a sweat.

Nathan also sent in some of his personal favorite weapons to Azura and he smiled with joy when he finally got his hands on his newly modified weapons. He had his special Ranger Sequoia that he got from a friend in the NCR Veteran Rangers and fired like a beauty, feeling much more powerful and deadly than before. Nathan was also given special detachable and reattachable cylinders that change the caliber of the revolver. Nathan also sent in Maria, a pistol that Benny gave him before he helped Benny escape The Fort. He keeps it as a memento and a reminder that there could still be hope in people, even the ones that shot you in the head... twice. He heard that Benny was doing good for himself in New Reno. Maria fired a lot better than ever and the fire rate was improved significantly.

His Light Machine Gun was one of his favorite weapons to use, he'll usually use the Bozar from time to time, but he thinks the Bozar has seen enough action. Nathan's LMG was massively improved and the underbarrel Grenade Launcher he duct-taped on was properly integrated into the LMG. His Anti-Material Rifle was relatively untouched, but how does one improve on perfection the gun nut thinks to himself. The YCS/186 was restored and was no longer rusty, it was also modified to be as strong with any type of MFC, no matter how little or how much they're charged. Lastly, his katana was the last thing they sent in. After a few swings and a few matches with some practice bots, the old weapon was massively improved. It was able to slice through the old Securitrons with ease and be able to deflect bullets if its wielder was fast enough. He also gave them Two-Step Goodbye and sent him with another powerfist similar to Two-Step Goodbye that allowed him to dual-wield both powerfists.

After getting his original gear back, he was also given new toys as well. Azura was able to restore an old CAMP (Construction and Assembly Mobile Platform) and be able to give him enough materials to make some workbenches and a small camp big enough for two people. Nathan was also given a Scanner that allows him to scan various plants, creatures, objects, and even people to learn about their biology and how they work. There was even a little bio that was provided with the information the Scanner was able to figure out and could be revised by Nathan if things needed to be updated.

Now in the present day, Nathan is at the Big Mountain Research Facility. The once empty and desolate research facility is now filled with scientists from both Earth and Azura working on projects and technologies so that the entire world could benefit. Nathan has handed control to Big Mountain to Mr. House after the formation of the UNA so that Big Mountain could have more than just insane brains floating around their section of Big Mountain constantly bickering with each other.

Nathan woke up in his bed up in the sink and proceeded to go downstairs into the Think Tank, the facility with the Brains and where the teleporter to the other world that Nathan is going to. He made sure to have all his equipment and packed all his gear into the Void Pack. Nathan picked up 25 stimpacks and was fairly confident in his new and improved Phoniex Monocyte Breeder that could heal him 10 times as fast as the original version. It cost him a lot of caps, but as Mr. House's Lieutenant, he had enough caps to spend. The new healing factor also allowed him to recover from his surgery when he decided to use his cybernetic implants instead of his squishy human organs. Nathan also packed a lot of special C-4 that was linked to Nathan's pip-boy detonator in case there was anything or anyone that needed to be blown up. He still had to bring his brain with him to the new planet or else their connection with each other will be severed and Nathan would be brain dead. Nathan's brain did not like the idea of going to an alien planet but was reassured that the brain would be safe on the island that Azura was in control of while Nathan explored. Not like the brain couldn't do anything in the first place though.

As Nathan walks into the Think Tank, he was instantly by one of the human scientists since the brains were just yelling at each other and the other scientists in the Think Tank. "Hello Courier, are you ready to the Molecular Relay? Also, don't mind the brains, they're just doing... brain stuff y'know?"

Nathan just nodded and said, "Don't worry, before you all came here, this is usually the sight that I come to see every time I'm visiting. They just have more people yell at and correct."

The scientist chuckled and other scientist motioned the two of them to get inside one of the new rooms installed in the Think Tank. Nathan follows the scientist and sees a huge room with a giant machine with multiple scientists and engineers managing the machine. Nathan stares in awe of the machine and begins to get nervous as he walks closer to the gigantic Molecular Relay. Before Azura came to Earth, there have been multiple machines called Molecular Relays that were built all over important places in the UNA. It was given to them by a scientist from a place called "The Institute" and exchanged many of the blueprints in exchange for caps, a sanctuary from the Brotherhood Of Steel, and be given a place to continue his work.

This special Molecular Relay has been modified by Azura and has modified it for instantaneous space travel. They were able to link Earth's Molecular Relay to their own version of the relay so they can easily travel between the planet. Nathan soon put on his helmet and with his brain jar in hand, he stepped onto the center of the teleporter. When he walked to the center, a voice from behind a thick window overlooking the room was soon heard by everyone in the room.

"Nathan Riggs, you are about to be the first man in history to explore an entirely new and alien world. I hope you'll be the first man to come back and live to tell the tale. Knowing you, however, we expect nothing but the best from the legendary Courier Six. Good luck Courier, you will be playing another vital role in our history and others."

Nathan salutes to everyone in the room and they all salute back. The machine begins turning on as blue lightning from above the machine began to crackle. Windows begin closing on Nathan, trapping him in the relay and sealing his fate. All the scientists hope for the best and hold their breath as the machine's engines begin to roar, the sounds echoing throughout the room. Soon a flash of blue light engulfed the entire room and when the light subsided, the Courier was gone from this world. The wildcard that started this whole thing was about to write history not only in his world but the world-lucky (or unlucky) enough to receive him.

Quest Complete: A New Chapter In This Wild Life

Main Quest: Enjoy Your Stay...

Muffled yelling was the only thing that the Courier hears as he wakes. Nathan groans in pain as he tries to get up, trying not to vomit his guts out after being teleported. He prefers traveling by foot or by motorbike since using the relay often ends with him being unconscious for a few hours. As you can see, Nathan really hates teleportation and does it as little as he can.

"Get the hell up! I've been floating in this damn jar for hours now and I don't know if you know this, but you snore very loudly!"

"Jesus, is that what you sound like when you get out of my head? You sound like any other wastelander asshole I've met, rude and annoying."

Nathan's brain sighs and says, "Look, I was just recently put back into this mentat saturated jar and so, of course, I'm a little pissy! Do you have any idea how it feels to be PULLED OUT OF YOUR OWN SKULL?!"

"Yeesh calm down, last I checked I didn't have such a short temper. And aren't you always a little pissy?" Nathan replies back to his brain. If any other person was seeing a man talking to a brain jar, they would've thought they were high on turbo or something. But nope, after a few years, Nathan got used to talking to his own brain like it's another human being.

"Can we just get out of here, dark places like these aren't usually the best places to be in. Especially in an alien world."

Nathan finally looks around him and sees a completely empty room. The room was massively different from the Think Tank's room. The walls were dark green with various alien looking runes perfectly carved onto the walls, similar to the runes found on the walls of Azura's main headquarters on the moon; the only difference was that the walls were dilapidated and ancient. All the computers were not handled by man, but by strange small machines that have rusted over time. The chirping and humming of the old computers were very faint but still noticeable to anyone who would listen. This place has been abandoned long ago and Nathan had a bad feeling about this.

"Didn't Azura say that their base here should still be operational? So unless we got teleported to an old lab by mistake, they must've been lying about something here. This doesn't feel right at all." Nathan asked himself.

"Hmm, this does seem a little suspicious that they would send us to a planet where they've lost contact with another colony. If this place was destroyed by someone or something, it would've happened hundreds of years ago. Look at how much these walls and computers have aged. I think I'd rather be in the Void Pack than out here, there might be some hostile creatures in this facility." The brain replies.

Nathan simply chuckled at his own brain, "What, too scared of being out int he opened like this? I thought you hated being the Void Pack anyway."

"I'm your brain you idiot, of course, I want to be safe. I also don't mind being in eternal darkness if it means we both survive."

"I know, I was just joking with you. Plus I wouldn't mind the peace and quiet for now." Nathan replies back before putting the brain jar into the endless void that is the Void Pack.

Nathan soon takes out his Ranger Sequoia and his katana, holstering them both on his waist so he wouldn't need to keep on taking them out over and over. He walks out of the room with each step of his boots making an echo as he walks to the exit. His hand already cocking his revolver and his katana out of its sheath. There was a strange and uncomfortable silence in the lab as he explored for any remnants of life in the facility. The whole facility was dark, but Nathan fished out a flashlight from his Void Pack and used it in extremely dark areas.

As he walks through the dark areas of the facility, he hears beeping and a sudden metallic sounding screech in the distance. He runs towards the source and sees a small Azuran spider-droid running towards him. He shoots the spider-droid in its weak spot which was the exposed core on top of its body and it dismantles immediately as soon as Nathan shot it. Nathan soon takes out his LMG, knowing that these spider-droids can swarm you and has an acute hearing sense. Soon enough, more rusted spider-droids scurry towards Nathan, with some of them still having their built-in turret. The caliber of these mini-turrets wasn't enough to pierce through his modified Elite Riot Gear (ERG) and Nathan barely flinched.

He gunned down the small spider-droids and investigated their broken bodies. Nathan was able to find 76 bullets (9mm, hollow-point) and find a few rubies inside the droids. Nathan pocketed the gems and began wandering around the facility. He didn't find any more spider-droids as he explored the facility but did find a map that labeled each area in the facility.

Nathan decided to explore the cafeteria area to try and figure out if someone was at least raiding the place, only to find a storage room filled with rotten-smelling fruit coming from the crates. Nathan scavenged through the rest of the kitchen to see that the stove still worked and found some normal looking foods that resembled multiple fruits and veggies from Earth. Hell, most of them were just actual fruits and vegetables from Earth. There were crates full corn, apples, lettuce, and so much more produce than Nathan actually knew about. He thought to himself if Azura has actually been to Earth before and raises more questions. He puts those thoughts aside for now and decided to explore the rest of the facility.

He eventually comes across a lab of some sort that also had various other-worldly fruit on tables and various testing tubes with liquids inside them. This was obviously a chemistry lab, having dabbled in making some chems himself, Nathan recognized the equipment. He explored the lab for a bit and even found an old functioning computer. The keyboard, to the ordinary man, looked like to be filled with gibberish and chicken scratch, but Nathan was taught the Azuran Alphabet while preparing for this trip. He was able to hack into the computer and found some notes detailing what they were making here.

The Prisoner Fruit Ban (Entry by Maximillon King)

After an incident that resulted in many of the staff being sent into the local prison cell and the banning of the source of the problem, these strange fruits the locals called, Prisoner Fruit, has caused quite the ruckus when we first brought it in. We knew that there are some beauty enhancing chemical in the fruit, but we were surprised when we found two side effects of the fruit. The obvious effect right off the bat was the copious amounts of an aphrodisiac-like substance the fruit's juices have. There were many counts of sexual assault, mostly females attacking male staff members, but they were easily overpowered by security. The fruits have also been extremely popular with the entire female population and we've slowly realized that this was not just a popular food item, it was an addiction. We were able to get everyone addicted to the Prisoner Fruit into rehab and have banned the fruit from ever being used in the cafeteria. Though security has suspected the chemist using the Prisoner Fruit to make new drugs to sell to the island's inhabitants. I actually miss when Cindy has been a little more assertive with me though, that was the best sex I've had in a while.

PS: After some investigating, it turns out 3 chemists were actually using the Prisoner Fruits to make Beauty Potions and were soon arrested afterward.

Nathan found this entry interesting but really didn't need to know the last part though. He decides to look through other entries, but mostly found recipes to elixirs and he decided to download some of these recipes onto his Pip-Boy. He exits the chemistry room and finds the living quarters wing of the staff members. There were multiple rooms and he searched through all them. There were various coins made of various materials like copper, silver, and even gold coins just lying around the floor like junk. Nathan was able to find 287 copper coins, 128 silver coins, and 21 golden coins. He decides to pocket these coins in case this had any value of some sort.

As Nathan explores the rest of the living quarters, he finds another functioning terminal in one of the rooms. Some of the entries were either corrupted or deleted, with only two entries available to read. This seems to be a personal diary entry, but Nathan decided to look through it to get a sense of what life was like here.

Nobody Likes Greg (Entry by Jason Pierce)

This is un-fucking-believable, the nerve of some people around here. You think you're gonna have a normal day around here, but there has to be something to ruin what normalcy we have around here. What I thought would just be a routine raid on a monster camp that was harassing a small town, turned into one of the most embarrassing moments of my life! Who we thought was just a kidnap victim from the village turns out to be a butt-fucking traitor. He leads me and my men into a fucking trap where almost half of my team were fucking RAPED by these pack of werewolves that hired him to lure us into their ambush. The remainder of my team was able to escape, but the people who got raped were not so lucky and were left behind. I really hope for the sake of that Demon Lord that those monsters are what they're written up to be; if they aren't, I'm gonna shoot her ass on the spot if I ever find her. I never really did find out the name of the butt-fucking traitor... the bastard looked like a Greg and I'm just gonna call him that.

As much as Nathan wanted to laugh how over the top this guy's entry was, he couldn't help but feel his stomach drop when he heard that his team was raped by... werewolves? Nathan decides to read the last entry on the computer.

We're Fucked... (Entry by Jason Pierce)

Well, this colony is fucked and I mean that literally. I know what all of us were thinking when we heard the news, a large group of radical monsters girls found our colony and we need to evacuate the island. We don't know how they found this island, but we're destroying most of our equipment or shutting them down so those monsters don't get classified information. Most of the machines will be shut down, but at least they'll have no way on figuring out how to turn them on. We're also gonna be cloaking all of our facilities all over the world so they won't find our secrets. All journal entries that have classified information will be deleted and all the secrets we've learned on this world will be gone with them. So many years has been invested in this colony ever since the current demon lord has taken control. My ancestors were one of the original colonists, but this is my home. I was one of the few to volunteer to stay on this planet to fend off these monsters while the others escape. One of them will take me away, but at least I get to see the world on my own accord now when they do. Plus, I've been dying to see what else the world holds outside this colony.

When Nathan finally learns of the abandonment of the colony, he writes this information in his journal and decides to explore the last room of interest, the Power Plant. When he finally got to the power plant, there were many active droids called Defenders, robots equipped with heavier duty weaponry and armor. Nathan decides to tread lightly in this area since these robots can pierce his armor and doesn't need an army of Defenders constantly firing at him. Nathan turns on his stealth-boy and turns completely invisible. During his exploration of the power plant, he finds out that these Defenders aren't as advanced as the ones on Earth, meaning that they don't have the infrared vision like the ones on Earth and their AI is a lot dumber.

Nathan decides to not crouch down since their AI won't detect him if he was 10 feet in front of him if they did he could easily hide away. He checks every corner to see if a Defender droid was around the corner and was able to avoid most of them without any problem. Nathan soon finds a door labeled 'Control Room' after about 45 minutes of wandering around the abandoned powerplant. When he goes through the door, he finds a computer that has a lot of dust but was still functional.

He wipes off the dust from the computer monitor and hacks into the computer. After a few tries later, he finally gains access to the computer. Nathan finds out that he could restore the power to the entire facility and turn off the invisibility shield that surrounds the facility. He decides to do just that and when the computer asks that if he wants to decloak and power up ALL of the facilities all over this world. After thinking about it for a minute, he decides to turn off the decloak so that he can easily find them and explore them. When he confirms his choice, the white lights all over the facility soon turns on. The computer also warns Nathan that all of the facility's defenses are on and will fire upon people who aren't part of the Azuran Colonists database. Nathan curses to himself knowing that he'll have to fight his way out of here.

Soon enough, Nathan hears the sounds of various turrets, droids, and other traps around the facility powering back on. He also hears heavy rapid footsteps coming towards the room and reloads his LMG. Just as he finished, 3 Defender droids burst through the door and Nathan open fires on the robots. The bullets easily tear the robots to shreds and scrap, but when Nathan went to loot the remains, they didn't have any bullets that his weapons use.

As Nathan fights through the power plant, the sounds of various guns going off and the dying beeps of robots echo throughout the empty power plant. Various types of robots now litter the hallways as Nathan tears through the robots with the help of his LMG. Various explosions go off as both Nathan and robots throw explosives at each other. The shrapnel would've been a huge pain in the ass, but thanks to the newly improved ERG, he was able to survive just fine.

It was all fun and games before the turrets showed up though. Unlike the mini-turrets inside the spider-droids, these turrets could easily make quick work of Nathan if he so much as walks into their line of sight. Oh, and there are also rockets just in case things weren't already overkill. Nathan peaks through a corner when he hears the beeping of a turret and blindly throws a grenade towards the sound of the beeping. Thanks to a little of both Nathan's perception and luck, the grenade blows up one of the turrets completely.

Nathan soon fires off a grenade from his LMG and fires a torrent of bullets, but not before the turret launched 4 spiraling rockets towards him. He was quick enough to duck down, but he wasn't able to escape unscathed. Rubble from the green walls fell onto him and he had a large piece of shrapnel lodged right into his leg and needed to pull it out before his healing factor can take effect. The shrapnel was still pretty hot, so he couldn't safely take it out, but he was able to limp out of the rubble that was over him and finally makes it to the lobby of the facility.

Unfortunately for Nathan, there were 15 Defenders waiting for him and weapons ready. They fire upon Nathan and the only viable cover in the lobby was behind the counter downstairs. He jumps off the railing and rolls into cover as a few bullets graze him. Nathan then takes out a pack of C-4 and chucks it at a group of Defenders and detonates it. Some of them were destroyed, but the Defenders only get closer to the counter.

The Defenders were quickly making work out of the counter, making it completely unsafe for Nathan and he soon bolts out of there. He takes out his katana and his Ranger Sequoia and begins slicing and firing upon the robots. The adrenaline makes him barely feel anything as he slices through their rusted armor with ease. Nathan made sure that his bullets pierced through each robot's armor and core and they all start dropping like flies. When his revolver runs dry, he holsters it and begins to dodge and weave through the bullets the defenders were firing.

Nathan would slice through each bullet and he felt time slow down as he administers his GRX implants. Nathan could see the bullets clear as day and slices right through them as he runs towards the remaining 5 defenders. He slashes through 2 of them at the same time with one swing of his katana. Another tries to flank behind Nathan, but he sees this and throws his katana through its core and destroys it. Nathan then took out his new Two-Step Goodbye and punched both the remaining robots only once before they both explode. Nathan soon retrieves his katana, the blade still hot from the explosion when it pierced through the Defender's core.

Then there was a moment of silence inside the facility, the faint chirping of birds from the outside and the smoking piles of scrap all around the lobby area. Nathan takes this time to patch himself up and try to relax from his fight. He finally pulled out that piece of shrapnel from earlier and watches as his body heals the gaping wound left behind. He reloads all of his empty guns and tries to relax for a bit. This was rudely interrupted when he heard more beeping in the distance and quickly leaves the facility.

As he exits the abandoned facility, he sees a flash of bright light and soon a forest of green and finally sees the exterior of the ancient facility. Nathan soon goes out into the thick forest and as he walks away from the facility, watching it as it slowly disappears as he walks down farther into the forest. The forest was gigantic, light, and budding. Its canopy was overshadowed by birch, linden, and holly, and the occasional beam of light that made its way through the canopy allowed for scattered herbs to burst from the moist and fertile bottom layer below. Various types of animals roamed and flew through the forest, constantly growling, chirping, and singing throughout the forest. There were colorful flowers growing on the lush grass of the forest floor and the wildlife looks at Nathan as if it were watching him for someone.

As Nathan walked through the forest, he heard talking and loud footsteps on the forest floor. When he searched for the source of the noise, he found five people in medieval chainmail armor following another person that had intricate armor and weapons. He could see them talking to each other, but he decided to eavesdrop on what the group was saying.

"-and then with a flick of my wrist, I was able to dispell the fireball with a counter-spell and slay the dark ignis and it's demon master with one fell swoop from my blade!" The man in the intricate armor dramatically told a story straight out of a fantasy novel. The knights in chainmail looked pretty young and believed this bullshit this guy was spewing. But then again, this was an alien planet and anything could be possible.

One of the knights in chainmail looked really excited and said, "Do you have any other stories to tell sir? I'm sure you have a lot more stories of valor from your glory days."

The man in the intricate armor laughed, "Ha, you think I'm out of my prime squire? I can still match over 10 dozen men with only my pinky finger if I wanted to!" Nathan silently scoffed at this man's claim, "So he's gonna be that guy at the bar is he?", Nathan says to himself.

The arrogant sounding man continued, "But now is not the time for stories now. The source of this mysterious blue light is near and we must be cautious in this area. Monsters still lurk in these forests, even after we came in and drove them out. I don't need squires going missing on their first mission now."

The squire simply nods and continues going into the direction of the facility. Nathan decides to keep exploring the forest and leave these explorers alone for now. At least he knows that there are a few monsters in this forest. As he wanders the forest, he finally finds a town with guards in the same armor design as the squires he saw earlier. There were no walls surrounding the village and there were just a few guards patrolling the perimeter and just two guards in front of the entrance of the town. Nathan walks up the entrance of the town but is stopped by one of the guards.

"Hail traveler, what brings you to Wakefield?"

"I'm just passing through sir, maybe get something to eat while I'm here. Do you know where I can get some food around here?"

"Oh, there's the Waking Giant Inn located near the town square; just avoid the bar area unless you want to be bombarded by the priest that keeps on preaching to the Cheif God all morning."

Nathan noted that they have a religion and decides to write it down in a journal later. The guard continues and says, "Also, I don't recognize your armor, are you by chance a foreigner?"

"I am actually, I was traveling on a ship but it was destroyed by sea monsters," Nathan lied, confident that the guard will buy his lie, "I was the only person to escape the monsters before I was beached."

"Sorry to hear about that, those monsters are some nasty creatures. There's a port town north of here. It should just cost about 25 copper pieces to get on one of the ships going to the mainland." Nathan thanked the guard and soon entered the town. At least he knew that the coins he found in the old Azura Facility were a currency.

As he walked through the town, the townsfolk looked at Nathan with curiosity and a little fear. It wasn't surprising to Nathan, his armor was designed to be intimidating and Nathan's imposing figure gave the legendary Courier Six a face that all raiders will recognize. As he walks down the street, Nathan could see parents talking to their children not to walk up to the man in the dusty and old armor, but this didn't bother him. When Nathan found the Waking Giant Inn, he took off his helmet and was cooked some lunch. After paying the chef 15 copper pieces, he noticed a hooded figure that was wearing a cloak. Nathan could see that the cloaked figure was a man and is wearing some heavy-duty armor and has an intricate looking sheath strapped to his hip. The hooded figure was looking at Nathan, but when Nathan looked at the hooded figure, the man simply looked away from him. Nathan soon finishes up his lunch and leaves the inn, going out into town and explore it for a few hours.

When Nathan left the inn, he saw an old lady wandering around town talking to people, with most of them just walking away from her. One of the people she talked to walked up to Nathan and said, 'Don't listen to that old coot if you value your life,' and quickly walked away from Nathan as soon as he said that. Nathan was a bit concerned for the woman and approached her. The old woman was in distress and was sweating from going around town and asking for help.

"Ma'am, does there seem to be a problem? You're gonna get a heat stroke if you keep running around town like this."

"I don't care about a stupid heat stroke right now! You need to help me! A monster took away my grandson and nobody in town will help!" The old woman yelled in distress.

"Did you tell the town guard about it? Maybe they'll be more willing to help than a stranger off the streets."

"Don't you think I already went to them already?! Those damn soldiers won't do a damn thing and keep using the same damn excuse all the time!"

"Alright alright, just calm down and tell me what happened. I'll help you with your problems and bring back your grandson if I can." Nathan reassured the old woman. She seemed to calm down when Nathan reassured her and was breathing steadily now. "Now tell me what I need to know about your grandson and I could bring him back."

The old woman sounded a lot calmer, but still sounded worried, "Okay mister, my grandson was kidnapped by an arachne and that's why nobody wants to help me. His name is Matthew Denton and he's been missing for 2 weeks. That's when I saw that damn spider woman steal my grandson away at the dead of night. Please, I don't want him to leave me like his mother, he's all I have left. I'll even pay you all I have, just please get back my grandson!"

Nathan felt sympathy for the old woman and replied with, "No need miss, you're gonna need it more than me in the future. Just tell me what he looks like and I'll get your grandson back and you don't need to pay me anything."

The old woman's face lit up and she started to tear up, "Thank you, I won't forget ever this!" She said as she hugged Nathan.

"He's a fairly young man and he just turned 21 a month ago. He also has bright blonde hair and the most innocent looking blue eyes you will ever see in your life. Please bring him back safe to me." He smiled and sent the old woman back to her home. She also told Nathan that the last place she saw the arachne go with her son was in the forest south of the town.

Side Quest: Till Death Do Us Part

The forest not like the other forest Nathan was strolling through. It was much darker and gloomy in this forest, like the type you'd find yourself in one of those cheesy horror movies. Rays of light could barely pierce through the thick canopy of dogwood, hemlock, and coincidentally sequoia. There was also an abundance of various types of spiders and there would be a thin wall of webs that spanned across one tree to another. Each web was filled with various types of bugs struggling to get out of the web, but only attracts the spiders who weaved the webs.

Nathan had his Ranger Sequoia out of his holster and flashlight shining through the dark forest. He could see wolves in the distance feasting on the carcass of a deer, but the wolves ignore Nathan when he came close to them. He scanned the wolves as they ate, completely calm as they eat the deer and he learned that they were extremely similar to wolves on Earth. He walks away from the pack and they simply kept feasting on the carcass.

As he walked through the forest, he sees a strange creature flying from branch to branch in the canopy. It was vaguely humanoid and it had a sleek female build and it was buzzing like a hornet. Nathan cocks his revolver and keeps track of the figure. Nathan eventually sees a spear that the figure was holding and the flying figure stopped for a moment. Then it suddenly was charged towards Nathan, spear in hand and ready to stab him.

Nathan quickly dodged the strange being and saw its face. It looked like a woman and was wearing a skimpy bright yellow armor. She also had the abdomen and large stinger of a hornet and has fairly large breast. Nathan assumed that this armor was designed to distract perverts, but Nathan was trained to close off all emotions during a fight, including lust. He fires a shot from his revolver and the woman's head completely blew off. The body plummets to the ground and blood was spewing out blood.

The sound of his gun seemed to attract a lot more hornets to Nathan's location. Five women from the hornets see the headless body of one of their fellow hornets and looked enraged. Some of them threw their spears at Nathan, but he easily dodged them and returned fire. One of his bullets tore through one of the wings of the hornets and she fell to the ground. Another bullet pierced through a hornet through the heart that had more practical armor and the bullet piercing through another hornet that was behind her. The remaining three go onto the ground and try to help out their fallen comrade.

A few of the hornets retrieve one of their spears and begin trying to stab at Nathan. He was able to grab the spear away from hornet and stab her through the leg with it, paralyzing her and leaving her on the ground. The three remaining hornets attacked Nathan, with one of them trying to drive her spear into his armor. They struggled with each other for a bit, but Nathan hit the hornet's face with the butt of the spear and elbowed another one that tried to stab him in the back. The one with the wounded wing tried to escape, but Nathan threw the remaining spear at her and it paralyzed her.

Before Nathan could get a second to breathe, he sees eight more hornets flying towards him in the distance. They stopped for a while, looking and analyzing the damage that Nathan had done. They soon fly away and Nathan left the surviving hornets paralyzed on the floor. Nathan makes sure that they're all dead by double tapping them and shot them in the head. He then reloads his revolver and walks away from the carnage.

After that little encounter with the strangely sexy hornet girls, Nathan began exploring the forest. He eventually finds a cave after an hour of exploring and decides to go inside it to get some rest. As he went inside the mouth of the cave, he sees a dim warm light in the distance and decides to investigate. When he got to the source of the dim light, he saw a wall made of bricks and mortar, as well as a finely made door. Nathan does the polite thing and knocks on the door and promptly hears a male voice yelling out, "I'm coming honey, just give me a second."

Nathan shrugged, guess this guy was expecting his wife to come back. The door opens slightly and the man matches the description that the old woman gave Nathan. The blonde man looked surprised and cautiously asked, "Hey there stranger, what brings you here this deep into this forest?"

"I'm just a traveler who just lost his way is all. I came to this cave to rest but saw the lights deep in the cave. I just came here to see if anyone was living here was all and to see if I can rest near the mouth of the cave."

"Oh, you must be tired, do you want to come inside the house for a bit? I don't mind you staying here and I don't think my wife would mind if you were just resting here. Can you just take off your helmet, I just don't want my daughter to get frightened when she wakes." The blonde man asks politely.

Nathan could see that he has some sort of weapon behind his back and replied with, "Thank you kind stranger, but you don't need to use that knife behind your back; unless you're some sort of cannibal or something, you don't need to worry a thing about me."

This only made the blonde man sighed a breath of relief and revealed a dagger, "Alright stranger, just come inside and I'll get you something to drink."

The blonde man puts his dagger back in its leather sheath and closes his door to unlock the extra locks on his door and fully opens it for Nathan. As agreed, Nathan took off his helmet and was felt an aura of calmness in the small cave home. The rest of the cave was lit up by a warm orange glow from the various lamps throughout the cave. There was some nice furniture that was well-kept and some carved in tables and counters. Nathan sat on the leather couch the man had and began asking questions.

"So how long have you been living here? This place looks pretty well maintained and feels pretty homely." Nathan calmly asked, not wishing to outright say, 'is your name Matthew Denton'.

The man replied, "My family and I have been living in this cave for six years, but our daughter was born after a year of living here." Nathan was a bit surprised by this and was thinking that he just might be another person living in this forest.

"How about you stranger, you have a place to call your own or are you those types that drift from place to place? You certainly look like one of those drifters I've seen."

"I actually have a place to live at, but it's VERY far from this place. And do you often let strangers into your house often?"

The blonde man silently cursed to himself and said, "Well before I moved here, I used to live in a town with my grandma before leaving." The man looked a little nervous and Nathan knew that he was hiding something.

"Y'know, I was going to the mainland before my ship was destroyed by monsters and I found this small town while I explored the island. When I was walking through town, minding my own business, this crazy old woman walked up to me and said that her little boy went missing. Kept ranting on and on how a monster kidnapped her son and how nobody will help her find him. Sure I pity her, but I'm gonna risk my ass for some old coot when there are monsters out there."

The blonde man's hand began shaking a little bit, 'Gotcha,' Nathan says in his head. Nathan felt pretty good on his chances and said, "I know it's you, Matthew, there's no need to hide that fact now. Your grandmother asked me to bring you back home."

"How much?" Matthew asked as his eyes started tearing up.

"How much what?" Nathan said back, knowing what he'll ask next.

"How much did she offer you?" Matthew replied, tears beginning to stream down his face and into the tea.

"I told her not to worry about it and I'll get you home safe. Were you really kidnapped by a monster and just ran away from home?"

"No, I was just sneaking out of the house to see my wife and kid. I met her six years ago, just a few months after my ma died. I was just raised on the stories about monsters and how they'll eat you alive and kill you without a second thought. I couldn't bear the pressure of trying to take care of her and the rest of my siblings y'know. So one night, I decided to get some firewood from the forest and just sat out deep in this forest, waiting for a monster to show up. That's when I met my future wife; I was tied up in a web, thinking that she'll eat me for sure, but she did the one thing I didn't think she would do. She kissed me and said, 'It'll be alright, what you're trying to do isn't going to work'. After that, it was pretty much set in stone from that day. I would go out into that forest every night and meet her there. She would listen to my problems and I would listen to her. Eventually, we just eloped and started building this cave you're in right now. I was just caught while I was trying to sneak out of my room."

"Why don't you tell your grandmother this, she's been worried sick for you for the last two weeks. The guards can't do anything and everyone she walks up to just dismisses her and say to other people to avoid her. Why make her think that the only person living with her was kidnapped by a monster?"

"You really aren't from here, are you? The town we live in and the lifestyle my grandmother lived with her whole life was the Order's teachings and rules. They don't approve of the union of human and monster. They'll burn me at the stake and kill my entire family if they ever find out. And I don't want them to think that my grandmother has been keeping my secret and execute her along with the rest of my family."

"So what do I tell your grandmother then? Tell her that her the only family living with her was brutally murdered by the hands of a monster? Do you want that thought on her knowing that she was helpless in saving you?!" Nathan said with passion, he had seen good people die for no reason and personally knows the weight of losing someone so important to your life. "She's an old woman running around in the goddamn heat and willing to give anyone who's willing help EVERYTHING she has just to find you!"

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO IN THIS SITUATION! EVERYDAY I THINK OF WHAT I'LL DO, BUT EVERYTHING I THINK OF WILL GET SOMEBODY I LOVE KILLED!" Matthew yells out in anger as more tears start streaming down his face.

Then a sweet quiet voice that sounded a little tired, "Daddy, why are you yelling? And why is this strange man in our house?"

Both the adults turn around to see a small child with the upper half of a human and the bottom half of a spider. She has long blonde hair and light red eyes. The child was wearing a small fabric satchel and was holding a tiny homemade doll made of a web-like fabric and four tiny buttons for eyes. The spider child looked like she just woke up from a nap and was still trying to wake up.

Matthew sighed and kneeled down to his daughter and said, "The strange man and I are just talking about things that make daddy a little sad. How about you sit down at the table and I'll go prepare lunch."

The child simply nodded and walked to the table with her doll. She grabbed something from a box and it was some white wool. Darla soon took out something out of her satchel and she began knitting something. Matthew was calming down and began preparing lunch for his family. Nathan was just on the couch fiddling with his pip-boy. Nathan was thinking about how he could handle this situation and finally thought of a solution. There was eventually a knock on the door and Matthew goes up to the door and he has a look of relief on his face. It was a woman that looked similar to Darla, with the human upper-half and the spider bottom-half. She also has purple hair that Nathan found strange and was wearing a bulky looking backpack.

Matthew unlocks the door for his wife and she whispers in his ear, "Who's the man on the couch, he's not from the Order is he?"

"I don't know, but he told me that my grandmother was looking for me and she sent him," Matthew whispers back.

"Y'know I can hear you right? Just sit down on the couch and just listen to what I have to say. Then I'll leave you all alone if say no."

The couple approached Nathan and both sat down on two armchairs that were across the couch that Nathan was sitting on. Matthew's wife was sitting on a chair that was designed for her.

"Now that we're all nice and comfortable, why don't you all introduce yourselves. My name is Nathan Riggs, I was sent to find your husband and bring him back to his grandmother."

"My name is Nalos and as you can see, I'm an arachne. Now why are you in our house and why shouldn't I throw you out to the hornets outside our home?"

"I was invited in by your husband and I learned of your family's predicament. I want to help the best I can, but I'll your help to do this. I've been in this kind of situation before I'd like to help. I can't just leave Matthew's grandmother thinking that Matthew is dead, so I'm gonna need you to come with me and tell her the truth-"

"Didn't I already tell you about my grandmother and the town?! How are you going to convince her to keep her mouth shut and leave us alone?" Matthew yelled at Nathan.

"You're just gonna have to trust me on this. I have a knack on persuading people on a myriad of different things. I think I'll be able to convince an old lady that her son would be happier with the secret he's made. I just need you to come with me and we'll talk things out with her."

"Alright Nathan, I'll come with you. But if this doesn't work, we're all gonna die here."

"Don't worry Matthew, I'll be sure your entire family will be safe, you can count on that. And don't worry Nalos, I'll bring back your husband safe and sound."

"You better, or there will be dire consequences if he so much as gets a scratch on him." Nalos threatens.

Nathan isn't intimidated by Nalos, but nods and tells Matthew to get ready to leave. Matthew says goodbye to his family and assuring Darla that he'll be back safely. Matthew also took a few herbs and bottles with him before leaving the cave. As Nathan and Matthew walk through the dark forest, there was the familiar sound of buzzing near the canopies of the forest. The buzzing was a lot louder than before, then Nathan heard a woman speaking.

"So you were the one who they spoke of? The others were right, you don't feel human, but you aren't exactly a monster, are you? When I heard about a man with no beating heart or soul was wandering the forest, but you certainly prove those rumors right."

"Who are you and why do seek my head?" Nathan yells out into the canopy.

"I am known to my people as Mollie the Thief and I don't seek your head. Well, not the one you're thinking of right now though~" The now named Mollie chuckled to herself. There were also nine other hornets accompanying her. Some of them had lust written all over their faces, while others emitted an aura of rage from them.

"I was sent by my queen to find the person who killed the hornets that went missing a few hours ago. She wants justice to be served to the man who killed her children and has sent me to take you back to the hive."

"I was attacked unprovoked, I only defended myself when they threw their damn spears at me! I'll kill you too if you try to do anything."

"Hmm... Nah, I think I'll just rape you right here and now. Plus, my queen already has a husband and I've always wanted a bad boy for a husband."

Nathan was disgusted for multiple reasons when she said that sentence right there. The most obvious was the fact that she announced that she wants to rape him, the second is that she wants to marry the man who killed six hornets from her hive, and what else was he missing? Oh right, the fact that she wanted to marry him!

"Woah lady, I don't care where you're from or what culture you have, but that's against humanity and can't go unpunished."

Mollie just laughed at Nathan and said, "Hahaha, well I'm not human, so I don't think your human laws don't apply to me. Plus you'll love all the pleasure I can give you, just ask the man you're traveling with about his wife. Enhanced hearing does have its perks you know. How is the wife by the way? Still as dominating as ever Matthew?"

Matthew blushed when Nathan looked with shame but looked back at Mollie. Nathan took out his revolver and fired off three shots. Three of the hornets drop dead and plummet to the ground. The rest of the hornets (Except for Mollie) immediately take action and charge at Nathan. Matthew ran away to a safe spot while Nathan was dodging each stab the hornets were taking. Mollie simply watched the others fight while she waits for the perfect opportunity to take Nathan away. One of them says, "I won't let that bitch take you from me," and stabs Nathan in the leg with her stinger.

Suddenly Nathan begins to feel a little hot from that stab. His vision starts getting blurry as he feels his crotch area getting hard. Nathan remembers he's not a masochist, so was he feeling so aroused right now? He fights off his desires and takes out his katana. He slices through one of the hornet's legs and falls to the ground as she screams in pain. Nathan then decapitates another hornet with one clean swipe and slashes another one through the chest.

Two hornets decide to retreat from the battle, while the others began getting more aggressive. The same hornet who stabbed Nathan with her stinger stabbed him again and Nathan began feeling a lot more aroused. His entire body is feeling hotter and feels himself getting a boner. Nathan was heavily breathing even though he was tired and was getting a lot more aroused. His vision gets blurrier, but he's used to fighting more intense fights with blurred vision. His willpower to keep fighting was slowly dwindling, but he knew that he could power through it and win this fight.

Mollie gets very excited when she sees Nathan getting hard and finally decides to strike. He sees Mollie charging behind him, ready to stab him in the back, but he dodges the attack. He was able to slice off the abdomen of the hornet that kept stabbing him clean off and embedded his katana onto the head of the last unknown hornet, splitting her entire skull in half. Nathan was extremely drained from the fight and his head was practically screaming at him to rip her clothes off and violate her at this point. He then does the only thing he could think of at the moment and take out his brain right in the middle of battle. It sounds weird, but if anyone can get through to him, it's his brain. Or it could completely shock or scare his opponents that a talking brain just popped out of nowhere. Before his instincts could take over, Nathan runs far away enough to take off his Void Pack and finally took out his brain as Mollie charged at him. He then used his brain as the shield and Mollie stopped as soon as she saw the brain.

Eyes were wide open and when she saw her future rape victim take out a brain in a jar and her eyes only widened even further and her jaw dropped when she heard the brain speak, "ARE YOU INSANE MAN, WHY DID YOU TAKE ME OUT AT THE MOST INOPPORTUNE TIME?! WE'RE ABOUT TO GET RAPED FOR GOODNESS SAKE! WHY DID YOU-" The brain finally notices the wide-eyed hornet and says, "Oh... I see now. Well greetings Mollie, I'm this idiot's brain."

Mollie was a stammering mess at this point, so Nathan took this opportunity to fire his revolver right next to her ear. In the distance, Nathan could hear the dying cries of a deer in the distance when he fired his gun. Mollie fell to the floor screaming in pain and holding her ears as they loudly rang. Mollie couldn't even hear the second shot when Nathan fired his revolver at her head.

Matthew meanwhile saw the entire fight unfold and was equally flabbergasted as Mollie when he saw brain coming out of Nathan's backpack. Luckily Matthew's brain was not out of his head, but he couldn't say that for the others. Nathan was apologizing to his brain before putting it back in his backpack, while Mollie also had her brains out, but not safe inside of a jar... or intact. Matthew ran up to Nathan and took off Nathan's helmet to feed him an herb. Nathan could feel some of his senses coming back to him and was given a bottle and was told by Matthew to drink it. Or that's what Nathan thinks he said, his hearing wasn't the best after getting stabbed multiple times and injected with an unknown poison. Nathan drinks the bottle and feels himself getting calmer and less hard in the crotch area as he drank the whole bottle.

"Holy fucking shit! What the fuck was that?! Why did I feel so fucking horny when they stabbed me with their stingers?! Last I checked I wasn't into that kind stuff!" Nathan yelled when all his senses came back to him.

"Calm down Nathan, that was their poison. They usually stab their future rape victims over and over again to turn them and dominate them while... y'know what I'm talking about."

"Okay first of all, how the hell do you know that shit? Second of all, was your wife like that when you met? And lastly, why am I fucking cussing so much? I don't curse this much unless I lose all my money to a goddamn cheater at blackjack."

"To answer your first question, there's a book about it and it has gone into detail what various monsters to their victims. Secondly, that's a personal question and you don't need to know that kind of stuff. And to answer your last question, that's just a side effect of the potion for first-timers."

"Do you know where I could find that guide to monsters? That sounds really useful for a newcomer like me."

"You should be able to find a copy at a bookstore not affiliated with the Order. It's pretty biased towards monsters and the Order doesn't exactly like that."

"Well great, now I'm gonna go in blind every time I find a goddamn monster that either wants to eat me, kill me, or rape me."

"It's mostly rape, they prefer not to kill humans when they don't have to."

"That's still a bad thing, no matter the gender. I don't care how attractive these monsters are, I kill rapists like them and they have no excuse for the crimes they commit."

Matthew looked a little nervous and said, "You're not an undercover agent for the Order right? I-I'm just asking since you seem very eager to kill monsters. I don't need any to one try to take my family away from me, monster or otherwise."

Nathan sighs and replies back, "I don't have a problem with monsters, the only problems I have are with the individual person and what crimes they commit. I was born into a small band of tribal bandits that were very few in numbers. We needed to accept outsiders as tribe members and we didn't care what species each member was. I was taught that each species has their skills and weaknesses to bring to the table and that NOBODY deserves discrimination or special rights depending on how you were born. I was also taught at a very young age that nobody was excused from death. It didn't matter what species, race, gender, or age you were when you saw us coming to your town with torches in hand, nobody will be spared. Death doesn't discriminate, so our tribe didn't either. I don't go burning down villages to the ground anymore, but my principles still stand firm with me to this day. The only thing that will guarantee me going to your door with a gun in my hand are the crimes you commit."

Matthew was silent after that and decided not to mess with the former tribal bandit. In fact, the entire trip back to town was silent, with only the noise of the forests to accompany them as they walked. This was something Nathan was afraid of ever since his tribe was enslaved by the old Caesar's Legion. Ever since he escaped and opened up to people about his past, they either try to kill him, never talk to him, or call him a savage and leave the second Nathan turns his back. He eventually got used to this and just started traveling with various dogs and animals he would find in the wastelands he explored. Nathan always had a special soft spot for horses and would try to tame the few horses he found roaming around the wasteland.

Both men eventually got back to the village just as the sun began to set. Nathan asked Matthew to take the lead back to his house and Matthew silently agreed. When they stopped a small quaint house that had the lights on, Matthew nervously knocked on the door. Nathan stood back a few feet away from him and when the door opened, Matthew's grandmother answered the door and instantly hugged Matthew with tears in her eyes. Matthew returned the hug and started crying as well. Meanwhile, Nathan was trying to think of ways to break the news that her grandson was married to a monster and to convince her to let them be. He knew that convincing her will be easy, he was sure of it.

Author's Note: Hi there, thank you for reading to the end of this chapter and reading this little author's note. I'm thinking of doing what another fanfiction did where the hero or in this case, Nathan fails in fending off the monster girls in the chapter and write a little lemon about it. It's called Dark Crusaders and was written by Najee if anyone is interested (just know that the fanfic hasn't been updated in over a year now). Let me know if you'd be interested in something like this and if enough people want it, I'll start writing the lemons at the end of each chapter and update this chapter with a lemon.

Please leave a review to let me know how I can improve on this since I have a feeling that this chapter can be improved significantly. I also have a few potential stories and one ongoing story on my profile if you're interested in reading about that. That's all for know and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day :D
