Disclaimer: I own neither characters of J.K. Rowling's wonderful world.

A/n: This was a poem I wrote some time earlier in the week, and as I read over it a few times, I was like, "Oh, guess who THIS reminds me of?" and I couldn't resist. The italics are Malfoy, just cause I can't resist carving him out in elegance, and Harry is in the normal font. Of course. At the end, the bold is the two of them together. Sorry if it seems cheesy: it's the songwriter in me.

I'm terrified of what I can't see and I don't know what to think; all I see is you.

Well maybe baby, you could help me be someone that I know I haven't been.

I'll learn from you. Come please, I'm asking you to get me through.

Please help, I need you.

Show me what it's like to really love somebody; teach me what is right,

And show me that I can breathe. I'm suffocating: save me from me.

I'm my own worst enemy. So tell me, is it worth saving me?

I'm not sure if I can trust you after all the times you busted my ass, babe.

But I see so much good inside of you that I could give it a shot.

Please know that I am never perfect. Don't expect to grow just from watching.

Show me how to care about myself for once and teach me how to dare

To make a selfish choice because I'm saving everyone but me, and I need to.

So tell me, is it worth saving me?

All I see is you…completely ignorant. All I feel is you calling for help and I won't be…

Ignorant of you or of your feelings, baby. I could learn to love you for who you are; Maybe we could put our histories aside and make these lives

Something better than what they really are.

So tell me, is it worth saving me?

End
