There you are in the early light of day

I've been blessed by the simple happiness

Piper turned over in her bed. She had been asleep for almost three hours and she was dreaming heavily. Dreaming of Leo. At first it was hazy, then it came into focus. They were together, standing in a large stream of golden light. It was the exact setting of when Leo saved her life, resulting in his wings being clipped. But this time, things were different.

Like an angel standing guard,

They were both dressed in white; Piper in a long, flowing gown, and Leo in a solid white tuxedo. From out of nowhere, a soft music started playing. Piper was in bliss. She didn't know where the music was coming from, but she didn't care. All that mattered now was Leo. They were together, at last. Free here now and forever.
When I'm looking for the light
In the middle of the night
Searching for the brightest star,
There you are
Piper stared in awe as Leo started glowing brighter. He reached out his hand, wordlessly. She didn't hesitate to grab it. He pulled her in closer. They met in a kiss. Sparks seemed to fly above Piper's head. As they parted, she stared into Leo's eyes. They seemed to contain the whole world and Piper wanted to see everything.

Leo grabbed Piper's other hand and they started dancing to the music. The violins grew a little louder. Piper breathed deeply on Leo's chest. She could feel his heart beat. Both his and her's beat to the same rhythm. They were soul mates, and she knew it. She could feel his every breath as he breathed in and out. She had finally found the person she wanted to spend the rest of her life with.

The music grew fainter and fainter. Piper looked up at Leo's face. It was starting to get blurry. The dream was over. She had snapped back into reality. She sighed, recalling the dream over in her mind. She rolled over and found him. She wrapped her arms tightly around Leo. She never wanted to let go. Maybe it wasn't a dream after all. Maybe this was the real thing.
